with loveSeasonedfrom the RMHCK KitchenThis recipe is brought to you bySPAM FRIED RICE INGREDIENTS 4 cups day-old rice (chilled in the fridge)1 scallion (thinly sliced for garnish)1 cup Spam (thinly sliced)1/2 onion (petitely diced)3 cloves garlic (minced)1/2 carrot, shaved2 tablespoons Mirin1/4 cup soy sauce1 tablespoons crispy garlicA pinch of monosodium glutamate (optional) DIRECTIONS Begin by heating your pan over medium high heat. Once you see a bit of smoke, addyour oil.Next, add carrots and onions, season lightly with salt, and sauté until softened. Stir ingarlic, soy sauce, and mirin for extra depth of flavor.Follow with your rice (and optional monosodium glutamate). Break it up and stireverything together until well combined. Once mixed, set it aside.Stack the Spam and cut into thin strips.Transfer rice into bowl and top with sliced Spam.Finish with scallion and crispy garlic Message
