La exposición El Jardinero nos invita a un encuen-tro entre dos mundos que a pesar de su aparente lejanía, comparten una profunda esencia: el arte y la jardinería. En este cruce de caminos, descubrimos que ambas prácti-cas se alimentan de los mismos principios de creación, trans-formación y cuidado. A través de maquetas, pinturas y se-cuencias visuales, la muestra nos lleva a un espacio donde la jardinería trasciende su rol funcional y se convierte en una experiencia estética, losóca y, por qué no, espiritual. Inspirada en el libro La jardinería como arte sagrado de Jer-emy Naydler, la exposición nos invita a ver el jardín como un lugar donde lo sagrado se encuentra con lo terrenal. Las obras aquí presentadas no solo celebran el acto de cultivar, sino que lo convierten en una reexión so-bre las preguntas más universales de la existencia hu-mana, aquellas que surgen cuando nos enfrentamos al ci-clo de la vida y la muerte, el crecimiento y la decadencia. En esta atmósfera llena de resonancias poéticas, la muestra revela que los gestos del jardinero y del artista son uno solo: ambos son sembradores, cultivadores de belleza y signica-do. Todo acto creativo, ya sea en la tierra o sobre el lienzo, son un acto de fe. La exposición, por tanto, no solo celebra el arte de cultivar, sino también el de vivir y de soñar, en una danza eterna entre la naturaleza y la creación humana. Through models, paintings, and visu-al sequences, the exhibition takes us to a space where gardening transcends its functional role and becomes an aes-thetic, philosophical, and — why not — spiritual experience. Inspired by Jeremy Naydler's book Gardening as a Sacred Art, the exhibition invites us to see the gar-den as a place where the sacred meets the earthly. The works presented here not only celebrate the act of cul-tivating but also turn it into a reection on the most univer-sal questions of human existence — those that arise when we face the cycle of life and death, growth and decay. In this atmosphere lled with poetic resonances, the exhibition reveals that the gestures of the gardener and the artist are one and the same: both are sowers, cultivators of beauty and meaning. Every creative act, whether on the earth or on the canvas, is an act of faith. The exhibition, therefore, not only cel-ebrates the art of cultivation but also the art of living and dream-ing — an eternal dance between nature and human creation. (Artemisa, Cuba, 1994)Ernesto Crespo Garcia is a young visual artist and stage designer who currently resides and works in Madrid - Spain. He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts, San Alejandro ( Cuba ) in 2014.Graduated in Theater Art from the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA), specializing in Scenic Design. His childhood was lived in a small rural town in the south of the Artemisa province called Alquízar. Telling stories for him has always been a hobby, currently his interest is how to narrate. The work of Ernesto Crespo García revolves around the construction of the image, within the pictorial, installation and cinematographic languages. His knowledge of the scenic and his concern for space-time remains constant. (Artemisa, Cuba, 1994)Ernesto Crespo García es un joven artista visual y diseñador escénico que actualmente reside y trabaja en Madrid, España. Se graduó de la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes San Alejandro (Cuba ) en 2014. Graduado en Arte Teatral en el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), especializán-dose en Diseño Escénico. Su infancia transcurrió en un pequeño pueblo rural en el sur de la provincia de Artemisa llamado Alquízar. Contar historias siempre ha sido para él un pasatiempo; actualmente, su interés se centra en cómo nar-rarlas. La obra de Ernesto Crespo García gira en torno a la construcción de la imagen, dentro de los lenguajes pictórico, instalativo y cinematográco. “Soy un creador de imágenes, un contador de historias. Mi nombre es Ernesto Crespo García, soy artista visual y diseñador escénico. Nací y estudié en Cuba, y actualmente vivo y trabajo en España. Mi obra gira en torno a la construcción de la imagen dentro de los lenguajes pic-tórico, instalativo y cinematográco. Contar historias siempre ha sido para mí un pasatiempo; en este momento, mi principal interés es cómo narrarlas. Mi trabajo es una respuesta muy sensible al mundo que me rodea, especialmente a la naturaleza y al sentimiento humano. Mis principales temas son: la vida, la muerte, la esperanza, la verdad y la cción; estos siempre han sido el leitmotiv en mi carrera.
