Use them as market-ing and sales tools.PackagingLabelsChallenge: Morrison Industrial Equipment (MIE) had an online ordering portal provided by another company that they were using but ordering through it was a messy process with outdated materials that created confusion for users. It also didn’t allow for reports, and MIE had to order in large quantities, which led to obsolete inventory. After many prospecting calls, our contact person at MIE agreed to meet with us to test our abilities and online ordering solution. Once they approved the quality of printed materials, they asked us to build a portal. Yet, when the other company heard MIE was starting to use Sir Speedy, they pulled the plug on MIE’s portal and locked them out of it. They also told Morrison to pick up the product from inventory. Solution: To help Morrison Industrial, we offered to house the outdated product and help them sort through it. Some items needed to be pitched and we also recorded the inventory to keep it updated on our portal. Then we started building a new online ordering portal. In fact, we built four different portals for different divisions. Meanwhile, they were sending emails to all contacts and companies to reach out to and sell the Sir Speedy services to them as well. (It turns out that the other company they were using for the old portal used disparate graphic designers and print companies that were convenient for them, so branding and pricing were issues.) Results: They are thrilled with the new online ordering portal and the reports now available to them. Everyone is using the up-to-date storefront/portal, and we work with them to do on-demand purchases. We are also still helping them to distribute many old items. Nine different companies owned by MIE are now using our services. We expect to see about $100,000 annually from these portals. For events that require food and beverage, source a caterer/supplier and be sure to order at least one month in advance. Verify two weeks out. Print informative marketing and sales collateral (brochures, flyers, handouts). Order logo apparel for all booth sta or employees to wear at the event.At-event Ensure your tradeshow booth and all signage and graphics have arrived safely and are not damaged. Pro Tip: Call a local Sir Speedy if you need immediate on-site help with any print or sign replacements. Make sure you have enough brochures and other materials for your expected audience and that they are easily accessible. Ensure any onsite giveaway or drawing is highly visible for all to participate. Make sure all AV required is set up and working properly. Deliver an immersive experience with video and other online features. Your employees and booth attendants are brand ambassadors for your company. Make sure they are well informed about the message you want communicated to your audience. Deploy so cial media messaging throughout the event to engage with attendees and those who weren’t able to attend.Post-event Mail thank you letters or postcards to promote post-event specials.
