Because all children are different... ADHD PerspectivesRussell Barkley,PhDDISABILITY Edward Hallowell,MDA GIFTDaniel Amen,HEAL YOUR BRAINt The constant in all my work efforts and goals is to help students andparents understand there is a path forward with ADHD.. You see, I am a ,daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother-in a family with ADHD across4 generations and 5 decades, I saw the why and how ADHD may impactindividuals, families and school experiences in a dynamic way. I haveobserved ADHD - up close and personally from many different perspectives -seeing and studying different presentations in each family member. In a way,I am you... and you..., and you! I share many common experiences with you!! In addition to my own experience, I was driven to continue somegraduate studies MANY years ago after my Bachelor's degree. I heard for thefirst time that there was a possible explanation for the differences I observedin my own family members that I could not define or explain! It shows upregularly and the impact of it It is still evident in my family forty years later. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling and in EducationalLeadership. I continued in doctoral studies in Human Development andFamily Studies in an effort to be more useful in this role, beyond the walls ofthe school.I talked to hundred of families in my school counselor experienceand was licensed in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2015,earning my Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor.designation in 2022. With all my heart, I want to serve you and assist you in your journey!.
