The modern catamaran is equipped with two enclosed air-conditioned decks and a spacious outdoor deck for viewing the scenery. Departing idyllic Orient Point, guests will first happen upon Gardiners Point Lighthouse and The Ruins of Fort Tyler. Heading north, this tour will pass the Little Gull, Race Rock, and Avery Point lighthouses before reaching New London Harbor and beyond. The two-hour tours take passengers to view six lighthouses and other points of interest. Highlights include Bug Light and North Dumpling Light, which supposedly helped signal to liquor smugglers during Prohibition. Once we return to Orient Point, we will get back on the bus to head to the quaint town of Greenport. Here you will get about two hours of time on your own to get something to eat as well as go shopping. After the two-hour private trolley tour, we will head over to Industry City. Industry City is a sprawling 35-acre complex (full of converted warehouses) on the waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. This area once served as a warehousing and manufacturing complex before being transformed in 2013 into a hub for restaurants, breweries, art galleries and stores.
