In order to keep your garbage disposal workingproperly, you should use it every once in a while, evenif you don't have anything to grind up. Simply runningcold water through the machine will keep the bladesfrom rusting. As with dishwashers, if you don't runyour garbage disposal every once in a while, they aremore likely to have issues or break. Be careful what you put down your garbage dispoal.Items like fruit pits, coffee grounds, pasta, bananapeels, eggshells, fat & potato peels should never godown the disposal. An easy way to avoid this is byusing your strainer cup on the garbage disposal sidewhen you're washing dishes and then empty it intothe trash. Try to clean your disposal every couple of weeks toprevent clogs and odors. Fill the disposal with icecubes and a cup of rock salt and run it for a minute orso. You can also use baking soda and vinegar or citrusfruit to clean and deodorize. IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Non-slip bath mats are extremely useful inslippery showers and are great for preventingfalls. However, these mats are not meant to be lefton your shower floor all the time. When you are done showering, please removeyour non-slip mat and hang it over the side of thetub to dry. If you continually leave these mats onyour shower floor, they cause all kinds of damageto the tub surface, including rust and peeling. Damage from improper use of non-slip mats willresult in charges to your security deposit at moveout. Remove &dry daily!IMPORTANT REMINDERS
