I began my performance journey when I was in elementary/middleschool (like many of you) and went on to earn a BFA in Musical Theatre,become an independent recording artist, as well as a traveling performerwith the kids’ show Danny Go! I love what I do and I remember how powerfulthat passion for the performing arts was when I first began as an 11 year old.It’s that same passion and drive that has carried me through all seasons oflife as an artist and I cannot wait to witness & help foster that powerful giftin all of you! (Mayrequire missing a day ofschool depending onschool holiday schedule)ththRehearsals will beginMondays, August 11 , 7-8:30. The older team willmove to 7-9 in December.BOTH teams will haveadditional rehearsals on11/21, 12/12, 12/19 and1/4.thThe Junior Theater Festival Team is a competitive team. Not all those who audition will becast. Please do not audition if you are not prepared for rejection. Cast members arechosen based on skill, professionalism, ability to learn fast, be calm under pressure, be apositive team member, and the limited number that fit into the adjudication space. The Junior Theater Festival team members are required to participate in Theatre DanceTechnique classes at a minimum of 1 class per week. They must attend all rehearsals andclasses. Participants who miss a combination of more than 3 training classes orrehearsals, without director permission, may be removed from the team. Fees are non-refundable.ActorsDatesRehearsalsIn addition to Showtime Academy Tuition, The Junior Theater Festival Team members willhave a participation fee of $150 per performer, to help cover the costs of team items andteam entrance fees.
