Check out theFacebook page to make some suggestions of your own.Best North County Abbreviation- Norco… I don’t understand what happened to the R!Best Family Activity Center- Putt-Putt. 54 holes of mini-golf, go carts, batting cage, arcade and a giant slide that wouldgive you a bad friction burn if you weren’t careful.Best Cruise- Lindbergh Blvd. from Putt-Putt to Cross Keys.Best Pizza Parlor- I love the Italian restaurants we have in the area but miss the old parlor that you ordered at thecounter and played video games and hung out with your friends until your order was ready. We had several—Pizza Inn,Godfathers, Pantera’s but my favorite was Village Inn Pizza.Best Mall (Indoor)- I know it is hard to believe because of how it all ended up but Jamestown Mall was a great place to beat its peak.Best Mall (Outdoor)- Northwest Plaza claimed to be the biggest mall in the country at one time.Best Place to “Watch the Airplanes”- Public Viewing Area at Mo. Bottom and Lindbergh. I have been told that you can dothe same thing at Cell Phone Lots now.Best Drive-In Movie- Any would be great have again in the state today but our favorite back then was 270 Drive-in.Best Sidewalk Sale- Village Square. Grab a treat at DQ and work your way through to Casey’s (stopping at Radio Shack touse your Free Battery Club Card).Best Place to Shop for the Holidays- Olde Towne at Village Square. Enough shops to have something for everyone on yourlist but if it really came down to it, you could get everyone something from the T-shirt Shop.Best Family Sport Venue- Jamestown Sports Complex. Had some good times there playing indoor soccer and sandvolleyball and they even had a couple of Wiffleball courts.Best Under 21 Club- Animal House. Some real good music acts and enough variety to keep everyone happy.Best High School Hangout- CYC Dances with DJ Tony Tocco. You just had to be there…I could go on and on but Jaime told me I had to get my submission in before 1:00.
