September 6 2019 WELCOME 6 52 PM Dear Parents I would like to welcome you to another exciting and productive year for your children I hope you all had an enjoyable and restful summer and were able to spend quality time with your children In addition I would like to welcome the new families who have joined the Torah Academy community The Abrams Aldrich Bark Hersch Lefman Lerner Lieber Meyers Nussbaum Silverman Uminer Zaklos families as well as our new staff members At the Hamilton site At the Preschool level we welcome Ms Rivka Huerta who will be co teaching with Morah Exler Ms Huerta will also be supervising day care along with Morah Kagan and Morah Segal We also welcome Miss Chana le Levin TA 14 who will be teaching prek2 kodesh New this year as well assisting in K1 kodesh is Miss Sara Brocha Beker TA 14 Miss Malka Faiga Mintzes TA 14 will be teaching K1 general studies and Miss Sarah Hamaoui TA 14 will assist Morah Ruth in K2 general studies In the elementary and middle school levels Ms Rivka Leff TA 12 will be teaching 5th grade general studies Mrs Sharon Ramelson will be teaching science social studies and English to 6g Mrs Sharon Yee will be teaching math to 6G 7G and 8G Mrs Rachel Benmergui will be teaching a math track in 7G At the Williston site We welcome Mrs Chana Wallach as our new Director of Student Support Services in the boys building Welcome to Miss Chana Faiga Leff TA 14 who will be the 4nd grade boys general studies teacher We also welcome Mr Luke Elson who will be teaching middleschool math and ELA September 11 Preschool Back to School Night September 16 Williston Back to School Night September 18 Hamilton Back to School Night The bulletin is sponsored by In both Buildings Mrs Rivkah Rochel Shepard will be providing kodesh support to both boys and girls as well as English reading support in the first and second grades Have a Rabbi Ochs Our new staff members participated in an orientation meeting on Wednesday August 28 with follow up departmental meetings on Thursday Sunday and Tuesday Our Tuesday full staff included a special professional development workshop It was exciting watching the students arriving at school on Wednesday and the preschoolers on Thursday The air was charged with anticipation and excitement for the upcoming year
