SBTC Level Placement Students are placed in class levels for the duration of the academic year according to their age and ability at the discretion of SBTC s Artistic Director and faculty Unlike traditional schooling students move through the levels of a dance training program at their own pace and it is not uncommon to repeat a level for one or more academic years Our goal is to provide each student with a solid dance foundation that allows for individual success and accomplishment and all student placements are carefully considered by SBTC s Artistic Director and faculty to help reach this goal Dancers enrolled in training at SBTC should follow the schedule requirements page to best support success in their designated training division and class level 8
