When it comes to treating those under eye lines, it'simportant to switch things up a bit compared to the uppereyelid area. If those lines are hanging out thanks to thezygomatic muscles, you don't want to mess with them toomuch. These muscles are big players in our expressions, andwe want to keep them happy for a natural, expressive look.It's crucial to really understand what's causing those undereye lines and think about treatments that target thosezygomatic muscles while still letting them do their thing. Bycustomizing the approach to handle these specific muscles,you can get a more satisfying and well-balanced result forthe under eye area. There might be some muscle actionbeyond the usual treatment areas for under eye lines. But ifwe use tiny bits of botulinum toxin on the surface in thiszone, we can smooth those lines and give things a little lift.This way, we're not just tackling the fine lines; we're alsogiving that under-eye area a subtle boost. TIPS & TRICKSMark with a dry erase pen where you’re going to treat andhave a printout face to mark what you've done. When using a brand toxin for first time use 2.5ml bacteriostaticsaline, then you can compare “apples with apples”. (Innotoxcomes in a liquid and is diluted with 2.5ml of saline).When you're doing tox for your 1st few times, less is more. Youcan always do a 2 week touch up. Load total units for 1 injection into 1 syringe. This way you don’thave to stress about accidentally putting in way too much.(Example if you need 5 injections in your Glabella of 5 unitseach, fill 5 syringes each with 5 units of tox).Keep records of your toxin mapping. This way you can adjustdose and or placement the next time you do toxin.If you have jowls, do a Nefertiti lift! The muscles of the neck areattached to the muscles of the lower face. If you have strongneck muscles, it pulls down on the face. Toxin in your pits to reduce underarm sweating. The effectscan typically last 4–12 months, or up to 14 months for some. 50units each pit very superficial.
