Coast Wide Training Solutions Pty Ltd ABN: 71 674 767 447 Web: www.coastwidetraining.com.au Email: admin@coastwidetraining.com.au - 1 - RTO STANDARDS COMPLIANCE SELF-ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST This checklist is designed to guide RTOs in evaluating their compliance with the revised 2025 Standards. It helps ensure that all areas of training and assessment, VET student support, workforce management, and governance align with regulatory requirements. Using this checklist regularly supports a proactive approach to compliance and continuous improvement. How to Use the Checklist 1. Review Each Quality Area Each quality area in this checklist corresponds to a core focus of the 2025 Standards. Carefully review the Focus Areas and Outcome Standards for each section, using the Self-Assessment Questions to evaluate your RTO’s current practices. 2. Gather Required Evidence For each standard, collect the specified Evidence Required to support your compliance. This may include policies, meeting records, training and assessment materials, and feedback forms. Attach or reference these documents as needed. 3. Record Observations and Gaps In each quality area, document any gaps or areas requiring improvement. Use this information to update the Compliance Risk Register and to plan corrective actions in the Final Review and Acknowledgement section. 4. Rate Compliance After completing each quality area, mark the Compliance Status in the Final Review and Acknowledgement section. This summary helps identify areas needing immediate attention. 5. Document and Follow Up on Actions For any identified gaps, complete the Outstanding Actions table. Assign responsible personnel, set target completion dates, and monitor progress to ensure continuous improvement. Add this information to the Compliance Risk Register. 6. Sign and Date Once the checklist has been fully reviewed, complete the Acknowledgement and Sign-O section. This sign-o confirms that compliance has been assessed and any corrective actions are being tracked. SAMPLE
