ROCKIES Additional Packing NotesValuables: *We would not suggesting bringing much more money that what you think you might need and would also suggest not bringing valuables or expensive jewelry. While we are attending a Christian camp, and your rooms at Graceland have combination locks on them, it is best to protect your expensive investments by leaving most valuable things at home.Body Jewelry: Also, if you have any visible body piercings (ear or otherwise) you will need to remove them in order to play sports. You can wear a clear piercing retainer, which are available at most body piercing shops or online. As for money you will need:If you are traveling with the delegation, you will need money to cover approx. 9 meals. Most all of our meals will be some sort of fast food option. There are things to purchase at SPEC, including items delegations bring, t-shirts and other items from Outreach International, HealthEd Connect and Graceland. Of course, purchasing these items is completely voluntary, but if you are interested, you might want to pack a small amount of extra money for items like this. Finally, just to clarify, and this is terribly important:While we know that some of you live in a state that has legalized Marijuana for those over 21, SPECTACULAR is very clear about being a drug, alcohol and tobacco free environment. DO NOT bring any one of these things, or paraphernalia, with you. If you do, you will be sent home immediately at you and your parents expense. If this appears to be a problem, we will search bags.If you have any further questions on what to bring, or what not to bring, please let us know!SPECTACULAR IS LIFE Be. . . . . . Rockies 2024
