Captain Letter To the team,I don’t even know where to start. You all have shown out this year and I can not wait to share the stage with thisteam one last time. From line camp to now the growth has been insane. Words can not express how extremelyproud I am of each and every one of you. You put the work in literally until it was over. Thank you so much forletting me lead you this past year. It has been an honor to be your first captain for some of you and your lastcaptain for the rest of you.My sweet rookies, there’s only so many of you and I would just like to say your hard work paid off. Every day wasa new challenge and you all handled it like young adults. You have made me feel like a proud mother seeing herkids grow within the span of a few months. If you are graduating I hope that the world treats you as well as youwant to be treated and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you do. If you’re continuing as a Highstepper,please do me a favor and put as much effort in the next coming years as you did this year because it only growsfrom here. Oh how quick it went. This will be the last time we ever dance on this stage together. You might not remember, but thiswas the very first stage we ever danced on. I’ve counted up how many days it’s been since then. 5,054 days since the veryfirst time we ever danced on the Heritage stage together. These past 15 years of dancing together, no matter what, youhave been there through it all. You are the best sister anyone could ask for, and even if I don’t show it all the time, justknow, you are my biggest inspiration. I will miss the days where we can go on late night drives, or just sit and talk, becausewhen you leave, there will be months in between seeing each other. My mind cannot help but wonder about how the bigand little memories went by with one blink. From our beginning to this, the end, I hope we don't forget all the memorieswe've made, in all the different ways. Throughout time on the team together, there are so many things I wish I didn’t takefor granted, I wish we had a million more years on the team together. We learned to stand through every hardship nomatter what, because to be honest being on the team together was tough. These “lasts” are something I never thoughtwould come. I always remember thinking we would just dance together forever and ever. But now it’s really over. Thank youfor being my inspiration, some I can look up to, someone I could seek advice from, and thank you for never giving up on meand for bringing me up when I was down. Thank you for all the things. I love you more than you know.
