RESPITE CAREIf you are feeling overwhelmed with caring for a loved one, you are not alone. According to a report from the National Alliance for Caregiving and the AARP, an estimated 53 million American adultsare unpaid caregivers, almost all of whom are caring for a relative.At Right at Home, we believe family caregivers deserve time to rest and revive their spirits. Our respitecare provides relief for family caregivers so they can step away to recharge and take time for self-care.
VETERAN’S CARERight at Home is contracted with Tri-West to provide care to our veterans through theCommunity Care Network, services funded include personal care, caregiving andnursing support. We are proud to provide these important services to help ourveterans age in place.
END OF LIFE CAREOur caregivers are trained to work with clients who are on hospice. Although not ahospice provider, Right at Home supports clients and their families at the end of life andis trained to provide physical comfort and emotional support through this challengingtime.
LONG-TERM CAREINSURANCEBefore Right at Home Seattle/Eastside and Pierce Counties(RAH) can submit invoices to a long-term care insurance(LTCI) company, the policyholder must first open a claim,and Right at Home must be verified as an authorizedprovider. RATESFor in-home care, there’s no set price. Prices depend on variousfactors including visit length, location, and level of care needed.The care you required might change as well as the price, as no onehealth condition stays the same. CAREGIVER HIRING REQUIREMENTSCaregivers need to have an active WashingtonState CNA or HCA License or be a studentworking towards getting a CNA or HCA license.A Washington State driver’s license and accessto a vehicle is preferred.Up to date vaccines including ones for COVID.TB Testing – skin test within one-year of hireor a chest x-ray within 5 years. CAREGIVER HIRING PROCESSApply online through the Right at Home Website or through social media platforms.CLICK HERE TO APPLYSchedule an interview with our recruiterAttend an online or in-person interview, Right at Home will reviewyour application, answer your questions, and determine fit.After interview, complete both comptency test and onlineapplication prior to orientation.Once received, HR will coordinate your on-site orientation.Before coming to orientation complete your pre-hire forms.Attend your paid orientation which will last 5-6 hours. Meet yoursupervisor and walk away with your first shift.
