COACH TRIMMING FABRICATION WORKSHOP The restoration that Paul his team have done on my DBS V8 is magnificent No detail has been overlooked Paul his team are never satisfied until something is exactly right the result is a flawless car MAIN WORKSHOP BODYSHOP WHAT OUR CLIENTS THINK I came to ROE in late 2018 when I bought a DBS V8 was looking for a company to restore it It had always been one of my ambitions to build an Aston Martin collection when I was ready to start I knew I wanted to work with a company that met three criteria the very highest standards of workmanship people who were easy to work with fair transparent pricing I am delighted to say I have found that ROE comfortably meet all three criteria Over the last couple of years Paul has also helped me to source acquire two other cars a 6 cylinder DBS Vantage a DB6 Mk 2 Vantage both of which will be restored by Paul his team For a new collector like me Paul s knowledge of the bush telegraph is invaluable as it enables collectors to hear about project cars that may not be openly advertised More than this Paul has never tried to push me into buying a car just because it was available I am only interested in highly original matching numbers cars with very solid histories in Paul I feel I am working with someone who understands what I m trying to achieve whose people have the skill attention to detail to bring the vision to life through their expert restoration conservation work If you are thinking of starting a collection or if you are an experienced collector looking to extend your collection I would not hesitate in recommending that you get in touch with Paul at ROE 6 The main workshop at Richards of England This is where your expectations and ROE s vision align to produce concours results 7

DB5 1674 R During the disassembly process careful work was carried out to remove components which started to uncover this DB5 s history Here ROE found evidence of the original Sierra Blue livery hidden in multiple areas This had been crudely sprayed over by a version of Postbox Red paint the only other colour to have ever graced this DB5 since 1964 Following media blasting of the chassis the next step was to understand the extent of the repairs required and to check the chassis was level This revealed that the chassis was not previously damaged or twisted New hand formed panels then began to replace previously corroded areas across the entire chassis This included the sills floor sections and boot panels Jigs were created to help position panels Repairs were also made to the wheel arches and the original aluminium body shell The focus at ROE is always on keeping originality whilst ensuring the car is protected for the future Therefore the chassis and internals were painted in red oxide to prevent rust as was the procedure at the factory 8 RESTORATION BOOKS RESTORATION BOOKS Hundreds of photos are taken at every stage of a Richards of England restoration These photos are then organised and used to create beautiful handcrafted books The photos are printed on 400gsm fine art paper for highdefinition printing The hardback cover is cut and bound from the same Connolly leather hide used to craft the owner s newly restored Aston Martin interior ROE always ensure some leather is saved from every restoration so that all their clients can receive their own bespoke restoration book 9
