MARK TOWNSEND Boys Lacrosse Head Coach Coach Townsend joined the RHAM Lacrosse program in 2016 He is a seasoned High School Lacrosse coach with over nine years developing and motivating young athletes Coach Townsend brings extensive Lacrosse knowledge to the program taking pride in inspiring his players to be the best they can be on and off the field Since 2016 Coach Townsend has turned the RHAM Lacrosse program into a serious program with a consistent and respected following I m excited and energized by this team and the support we get from the community MICHAEL HUMPHREYS Boys Assistant Coach Offense Coach Humphreys joined the RHAM Lacrosse program in 2019 after spending the last 10 years at Xavier High School in Middletown A former player from Xavier High School he went on to play D2 lacrosse at Saint Anselm College Manchester NH and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the RHAM sidelines Coach Humphreys is looking forward to furthering his coaching career by helping Coach Townsend put RHAM Lacrosse on the map Watching his athletes succeed and grow on and off the field is one of Coach Humphreys greatest joys Coach Humphreys is excited to be part of this Lacrosse Family and looks forward to this new chapter in RHAM Lacrosse history LARA JUENGER Boys JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach Special Teams This is Coach Juenger s second year coaching RHAM at the high school level Previously she coached RHAM Youth Lacrosse both boys and girls teams for 10 years Coach Juenger has served on the board of Connecticut Valley Girls Youth Lacrosse over the past five years As a college athlete Coach Juenger played Division 1 college lacrosse at James Madison University as a goalie Her focus this year for RHAM Boys High School lacrosse team will be primarily focusing on player development goalie specialization and sharing the fun and the culture of the game TIMOTHY TRAVERS Boys Assistant Coach Coach Travers joined the RHAM Lacrosse program in 2020 He has been a goalie coach at Longmeadow High School in Longmeadow Massachusetts A former player from Longmeadow High School he went on to play DII lacrosse at Merrimack College in North Andover MA and brings experience and knowledge to the RHAM sidelines Coach Travers is excited for the opportunity to be coaching lacrosse again and looks forward to developing the players and the RHAM Lacrosse program 8

KAREN FOLEY Girls Lacrosse Head Coach Coach Foley is leading the RHAM Girls Lacrosse program this season as head coach for the second year She has been involved in girl s lacrosse for the past 10 years working with the youth teams as well playing a role on the FORHSL board She is excited to recharge the program to ensure success for years to come Girls will have the opportunity to develop a sense of cohesiveness as a team and to refine their skill level by participating in pre season conditioning clinics community service summer camps and more She brings to this team her competitive edge from her personal pursuits as an athlete as well as her ability to motivate from 20 years as a classroom teacher I hope to inspire my girls to work harder than they thought they could achieve goals they never thought possible but most importantly to win as one on and off the field Coach Foley is confident that with continued hard work and commitment the team will have a winning season Game On CHRISTIAN AYER Girls Lacrosse Assistant Coach Christian graduated from RHAM with the class of 2012 and played soccer and lacrosse He still watches and plays both sports regularly and is very excited at the unique challenge of getting involved with the girl s side of lacrosse for the first time This is his first time being in a coaching role for lacrosse and he is looking forward to the experience of working with such a fantastic group of coaches and athletes His biggest hope for the season is seeing all of the players individual growth both on and off the field RHAM WHAT IS LIFE WITHOUT GOALS 9
