Janet had been homeless for over a year before coming to Quest where she was provided with temporary housing. The Quest Cares team helped her acquire three jobs—a CNA in a nursing facility, private sitting for a family, and at a laundromat. During her stay at Quest, Janet worked cooperatively with her assigned case manager and participated in therapy with CHRIS 180. Janet was able to save over $1,000 by implementing budgeting skills she received from her case manager and On the Rise Financial Center. Janet successfully completed one year at Quest and rented a townhouse that she dreamed of moving into when she was homeless. We're happy that Janet went from being homeless to self-sufficient within 12 months with the help of Quest and our partners! A NEW HOME. A NEW LIFE. #ForTheCommunity A WESTSIDE RESIDENT STORY

George has three years of sobriety under his belt after entering a Quest community. He is currently working on obtaining his GED and reunifying with his two sons who are both autistic. George's ultimate goal to attaining self-sufficiency is to one day having the ability to become a homeowner and be able to provide his children with good stable lives. George is proud of his success so far and stated that his biggest accomplishment would be to simply live out his life clean and sober. FAMILY REUNIFICATION A WESTSIDE RESIDENT STORY #ForTheCommunity

Evinn has been a Leonard House resident since August of 2022. Before entering our transitional housing program, he resided at another transitional house in Atlanta - but did not receive the elevated support and opportunities for growth that he needed to get his life back together. During his stay, Evinn worked two jobs and was able to save money, obtain his own apartment, pick up his schooling, manage his mental health, and maintain his sobriety. We are so proud of his achievements and excited to see what he does next. "My experience here has been nothing but positive. The staff was polite, helpful and supportive, the place was nice and clean, and I felt safe and comfortable. I really appreciate this place, and everyone involved in making it a reality. Thank you, Quest. You are truly the best!" THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT #ForTheCommunity A WESTSIDE RESIDENT STORY

Tameka had hit rock-bottom. Depression, drug addiction, a DUI—and then a miscarriage. After a six-month stay in a homeless shelter, Tameka had proved to her caseworker that she was serious about making a change. And at age 36, she was led to Quest. Now, for three years, this Quest resident has been free from drugs and alcohol, fear and frustration. And she has spent this time becoming a certified peer counselor who is working to help others—including her Quest neighbors—break free, as well. "Quest marks a second chance for me. Quest took me in with acceptance and without judgement. My life is no longer about losing things over and over. It’s about supporting myself and supporting others. It’s a new life."
