Over the past almost three months, the people at E1, D1, and P1 have been hard at work, Doing it Right, Doing it Safe, and Doing it Well! We’ve seen a lot of new faces in new positions across the region, both through growing with Crescent as well as finding talented people to join the teams. The Continuous Improvement mindset has been forefront at both P1 and E1 where Kaizen Events and Value Stream Mapping processes are taking place. There’s also been a steady emphasis on our people as we continue to hold events across the region ranging from recognition, learning, and even food events. The highlight in this edition of the Regional Report is the addition of the P1 Team and the inclusion of their activities throughout the quarter. As part of Crescent’s investment in our people’s wellbeing, we will be bringing onsite Wellness Fairs to all sites in the fall of 2025. This will include representatives from the medical, dental, and vision insurance companies as well as a variety of other of Crescent’s wellness partners coming onsite to each facility to be able to answer questions that you may have. This could include questions about an upcoming procedure, questions about cost, or any other general question you may have. Dates for these events are being confirmed, but we are targeting September and October of 2025. Please keep a lookout for the confirmed dates and times at your site and reach out to your SPG with any questions!COMING THIS FALL!

We will definitely miss seeing her smiling face every day but could not be prouder of the opportunity she has to share her passion for helping people within the rest of the Crescent organization! As the E1 Team launches into year two of our Quarterly Recognition and Learn (QRL) events, the team has made some enhancements based on the surveys and feedback we received from our people in 2024. D1 CELEBRATES THE PEOPLE!LATEST FROM THEE1 LOGSITICS TEAMAs part of our ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence at E1, the logistics team has made an important adjustment to the forklift fleet settings. The Inactivity Timeout has been reduced from three minutes to 30 seconds. This change is designed to help prevent unintended forklift movement and reduce the risk of idle time across the facility.Additionally, we are actively working on implementing asecondary travel alarm across the entire fleet. This added layer of safety will provide an extra alert when forklifts are in motion, helping to further protect both the operators and pedestrians in high-traffic areas. We’d like to thank our forklift operators and leads for their continued focus on safety!Lastly, we’d like to recognize our top forklift operators in the category of utilization during Quarter 1 of 2025:Joe Adams (1stShift) – 98.21%Ramon Blanco (3rdShift) – 96.43%Steve Jordan (1stShift) – 94.21%The P1 Team’s commitment to becoming a Premier Service Provider has been on display throughout the quarter. For five consecutive months (January through May), they have hit the customer’s service level goal. May was their highest month this year with a 99.4% performance. This service level goal measures whether or not the customer is able to fulfill their orders. In addition, they have seen a 6.2% year-over-year productivity increase, despite a 12% volume increase. The Memphis Team is also focusing on continuous improvement as they have fully implemented their just-in-time (JIT) project, which consisted of printing the UPC labels in-house rather than outsourcing this task. They are also working towards automating the case label creation process. Keep up the great work team!Throughout the quarter, the team at D1 has been Doing it Right for the people at the site through a variety of People Events. In April, after achieving their Quality KPI, they held a biscuits and gravy meal for the team, aptly called “B&G –Be Good at Quality”. May brought two exciting people events at the site as pajama day returned (back by popular demand!) as well as the first “Muffins for Mom” which served muffins to the people as a celebration of Mother’s Day. They also continued their Nutrition Class sessions in May where they welcomed a registered dietitian from their vending partner, Executive Dining, to help educate people on how to make healthy meals on a budget. June brings their annual Summer Celebration as they dedicate an entire week of celebrating their people through a variety of themed days, including 80s Day, Hawaiian Beach Day, and the return of the D1 Carnival Day!PROGRESSING PEOPLESarah Moritz – Line Lead Level 2Rosa Criollo – Line ChampionYuliana Magana – Line ChampionMahamadou Diallo – Line ChampionDavon Davis – Line ChampionMercedes Thomas – Line ChampionJeff Kopsie – Line ChampionLorenzo Strong – Line ChampionKenneth Herzing – Line Champion Level 2Mario Saba Valdez – FLO Level 1Congratulations to the following individuals who leveled up in their roles in Q2 2025!We’d also like to congratulate the following individuals who were promoted into new positions during Q2 2025!Dragan Bozic – Auto Line Machine OperatorMarialina Goncalves – Auto Line Machine OperatorEduardo Sevilla – Quality InspectorPhanendra Adhikari – Production LeadServandieu Estime – Line LeaderOthnielle Kondi – Line LeaderMichelle Hain – Line LeaderYarilys Bautista – Line LeaderBrahym Zaari – Line LeaderYamilet Lopez – Line LeaderBrian Acosta – Line LeaderKelly Urbano – Line LeaderLeanna Van Vleet – People Development & Community Engagement ManagerDRIVING PERFORMANCE AT P1ARE YOU LOOKING FOR YOUR NEXTCAREER OPPORTUNITY AT CRESCENT?DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT POSITIONS ARE OPEN ACROSS THE COMPANY?CHECK OUT THE INTERNALJOB BOARD POSTEDON GREENHOUSE!

SPOTLIGHTING PEOPLE FROM ACROSS THE REGION!Another new face to the region, Jamie joined the D1 Team in April as the Inventory Lead. Jamie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business management and finance with an upcoming graduation date. She is proud to say that she will be the first member of her family to graduate from college! When she’s not working or studying, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, including camping and motorcycle rides with her husband. She also enjoys vacationing at the beach, baking desserts, and binge-watching Criminal Mindsand Supernatural.RANDALL KINNIKINQUALITY COORDINATOR (D1)DANIEL KAHLMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (P1)With about a month under his belt, Randall is one of the newer faces in the region. He joined the D1 Team in May as the Quality Coordinator and is currently deep into his Onboarding Plan. When he’s not working, Randall likes to stay active through weightlifting and running. He’s also a big fan of pro wrestling, film, and video games. When he’s able to, though, he also enjoys just relaxing at home with his partner and spending time with their pets. JAMIE ERWININVENTORY LEAD (D1)Crescent would like to congratulate Dan Kahl on his impending (second!) retirement after a brief but impactful tenure at P1. Starting in 2022, when we coaxed him out of his first retirement from Algus Packaging to take on a part time maintenance technician role, Dan rapidly made himself indispensable, initiating a series of projects to refurbish our older machines, resulting in increased quality and uptime, while also leading a major 5S effort in our maintenance shop. He applied his advanced troubleshooting skillset and next-level perseverance to reduce our reliance on outside service providers. In 2024, he was promoted to a full-time supervisor of the P1 Maintenance Team. In that role, Dan made even greater contributions to our success, leading his team to embrace Crescent’s Continuous Improvement Service Culture by standardizing best practices in line setups, line support, and equipment PMs. Dan prioritized his team’s growth and development, ensuring ongoing cross-training and leading all team members to complete Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) / Arc Flash Training as well as achieve Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. He has built an exceptionally strong foundation in the P1 Maintenance Team. As Dan prepares to leave us in August, he looks forward to spending more time with his grandson, volunteering at his church, being able to travel more, and getting more serious about fishing. Thank you, Dan, for the vital difference you have made at Crescent, and we wish you a long and happy retirement!Do you have a suggestion for whoshould be spotlighted next issue?Would you like to see yourself spotlighted? He started his career here as a Talent Partner Line Worker, eventually receiving the opportunity to join the team as a full-time Line Leader and then finally made the transition to ALMO to support the startup and full life cycle of the Alchemy Lines. Atul has stated that the leadership at the site and the “opportunities that I have been given, and the helpfulness of management” is what has kept him at Crescent for so long. When he’s not working, Atul is a life-long fan and player of the sport of cricket.GLENDA WOLFGANGINVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR (E1)With close to 7 years of service at Crescent, Glenda brings a wealth of experience to both the E1 Inventory and Logistics teams across multiple shifts – starting as an Inventory Control Person, progressing to Inventory Lead, then transferring to the Shipping Office in a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator role, to the Inventory Control Coordinator role she’s currently in. Whenasked what the reason behind her long tenure, Glenda shared, without hesitation that it “has been the people that I get to work with, the opportunities that I have gotten to train and mentor others, and the degree of autonomy that I have in my role.”When not working, Glenda stays busy playing video games and spending time with her family.
