Quest Residences allows us to continue our mission to create affordable and supportive housing communities. One of Quest’s primary objectives for all our developments is that its location allows for easy accessibility to neighboring resources and amenities. Within 1.5 miles of this development, residents can access education, green space, healthcare, and healthy food opportunities. Residents can also use public transportation that stops less than 1,000 feet from the building. The building will also be located less than one mile from the Beltline’s Westside Trail. Upon its completion, residents will be able use the trail for recreation and transportation across the city. The project consists of 30 1-bedroom units and 10 2-bedroom units that will all be income restricted to individuals and families at or below 30% AMI. Supportive services will be available for all residents. SUPPORTIVE LIVING IN GROVE PARK

The Simpson, a 139-unit affordable apartment community will provide 1, 2, and 3brm units to lower-income families at 60% AMI levels. @ Historic Vine City THE SIMPSON WEST Another Westside affordable housing venture is moving forward that would provide tenants with quick access to a range of greenspaces opened in Vine City and English Avenue in recent years. The Simpson, a 139-unit apartment community, is planned for former church property in the 800 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in Vine City, about a mile west of Georgia World Congress Center.

The Simpson West will address the much-needed affordable units lacking in the Vine City neighborhood and on Atlanta’s Westside, in general. The family units at our new development will provide workforce housing and will be 100% low income. Recent development in the community is driven by new economic engines such as: the Mercedes Benz stadium; the Westside Beltline expansion; the MLK Dr. and Joseph E. Boone corridors city improvement Plan; three new city parks; and the highly anticipated Bellwood Quarry Yards which is primed to be a huge market to luxury mixed-use development on the Westside. A $2-million Westside TAD Ascension Fund grant will help finance construction of the project, which is being developed by Integral Development and Quest Community Development Organization, Invest Atlanta recently announced. The property is home today to a small former church building and parking lots. A church building on the northeast corner, the former Simpson Street Church of Christ, was razed several years ago. The improvements will consist of a single, 251,000 gross sq. ft, apartment building with wood frame construction over one-story, grade level podium parking. Required 2020 DCA Architectural, Site and Unit amenities will be incorporated into the project design and will comply with all DCA energy efficiency/sustainability and accessibility standards. HERITAGE VILLAGE Heritage Village at Westlake, a 120-unit affordable apartment community is a mixed-use development that will provide permanent supportive housing, health care, and community wellness services. @ West Lake The Heritage Village at West Lake site occupies a significant place in Atlanta’s history. Originally built as the Waluhaje Hotel in 1951 by Walter Aikens as an apartment and hotel complex serving Atlanta’s development post-war Westside, the complex gained notoriety for its ballroom which hosted many of the top jazz performers of the era. After Aikens sold the property in 1967, Job Corps moved in 1969 and began providing residential educational and vocational training at the site until closing in 2017.

Heritage Village at Westlake sits in a prime location, nestled in a once rich and vibrant community. The redevelopment and preservation of this gem will be the catalyst for economic and community development this Westside community needs and deserves.
