Hawthorne Food Drive
One can make a difference! Help our school provide
meals for over 22,000 people in the Treasure Valley.
Join us in the Winter Food Drive to serve our local
community and help our neighbors in need from
November 30 - December 14.
Students, turn in canned food to your teacher. The
classes who bring in the most food will earn an extra
recess. Thank you!

When picking up and dropping off your child, in the
pull through area next to Targee Street, please do
not park in front of the gate. We are trying to have
parents park next to the sidewalk on either side of
the pull through leaving the center lane open for
thru traffic. If you are in the center lane do not leave
your vehicle. We need to keep the flow of traffic
moving to prevent a backup of cars on Targee Street
which interferes with the crosswalk and the safety of
our walking students. We appreciate your attention
to this matter. We are looking out for the safety of all

Who: 5th & 6th Grade Parents
What: Discussion of the recommended student
placement in Math 6, Honor 6/7, and Compacted 7/8.
Why: To help parents make informed decisions
about what option is best for their student.
When: 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
