The United Nations Childrens Emergency Fund is a program which it's headquarters is in New York City. It provides assistance to third world countries that are short of supplies. It was started by United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 1946, to provide emergency food and free healthcare to countries in need. UNICEF gets its financial help from the governments and donors.
