Type 2 diabetes is a disease where your glucose levels rise higher than normal.If you're affected by this condition,you body doens't use insulin properly.This is called Insulin resistance.At first,your pancreas makes extra insulin to make up for it.Yes,this condition is a very big deal,but you can deal with it.You can do these things by making a daily diet and routine.A basic diet for a person wih diabetes 2 is carbohydrates because it breaks down into glucose in the blood faster than any other type of foods,which raises blood sugar levels.


Recommendations for a Diabetic Diet:

A diabetes diet is a helathy plan for eating that's rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Most include fruits, vegetables and whole grains. In fact, this diet is the best eating plan for most everyone.This diet tells you how much and what kinds of food you can choose to eat at meals and snack times.The right meal plan will help you improve your blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol numbers.It also helps keep your weight on track.Non-dairy products,beans,meats,poultry & fish are other examples of food that diabetics should invest in.


The role of blood sugar monitoring:

Even though diabetes is a chronic condition,people have to monitor and adjust their blood sugar using special tools.Blood glucose meters,alternate site testing and glucose strips are used to keep track of sugar levels and maintain an average scale.These also determine the level of glucose fluid under the skin.


Exercise and Lifestyle:

Two types of physical activity are most important for managing diabetes: aerobic exercise and strength training.Aerobic exercise helps your body use insulin better. It makes your heart and bones strong, relieves stress, improves blood circulation, and reduces your risk for heart disease.This is because it lowers blood sugar & blood glucose.The other type of exercise is strength training.It makes your body more sensitive to insulin and can lower blood glucose. It helps to maintain and build strong muscles and bones, reducing your risk for osteoporosis and bone fractures.
