Sir Isaac Newton lived during the 1600s. Isaac invented the three laws of motion.  He is also an english mathematician, astronomer, and physicist.

Newton’s mom wanted him to be a farmer.Newton was knighted by Queen Anne on April 16,1705.

Newton once stuck a needle in his eye until he seen white.Newton discovered gravity. Newton liked to fidget and discover and find new things.

When forces on an object are balanced, the object will stay at rest.

Tendency of a body to resist a change in motion or rest.

For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

* In our experiment, we dropped a penny in a cup when we pulled the card from the cup.  This showed Newton's first law.

*An object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it

*An object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

Law 1

*The greater the mass of an object, the more force it will take to accelerate an object

* When forces on an object are balanced, the object will stay at rest

*When forces on an object are unbalanced, the object will be in motion

Law 2

*The size of the forces on the first object equals the size of the force on the second object

* For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction

* A force is a push or a pull that acts upon an object as a result of its interaction with another object

Law 3
