Member may use the statement:
Fully-Accredited Member of the International Association for Distance Learning.
IADL will confirm membership status to any third-party enquirer, by email, fax, telephone or
regular mail. There is also a dedicated online form on our website for verification purposes.
Members will be issued with soft-copies of IADL Membership Certificates and other
documentation in .pdf format, and may print their own hard copies as required. Hard copies
issued by IADL will incur additional administration and postal / courier charges (See Article 7

above, which must not be altered in any way without the written consent of our Executive
3.3 Branch and Representation Offices and Satellite Campuses
Members may announce their IADL membership status and display the IADL logo on websites
and/or promotional and publicity materials for branch offices, representation offices, and/or
satellite campuses, provided that:
(a) The branch office or satellite campus is located in the same country as the member
(b) The branch office or satellite campus bears the same name as the Member and/or is
not considered as a separate entity.
(c) Operating procedures, curriculum, syllabi, and methods of course-delivery and quality
assurance are broadly the same.
Branch offices and satellite campuses which do not meet all the above criteria will be required
to submit a separate application for IADL membership. Representation offices or
sales/recruitment agents are generally exempt from the above, provided that no instruction is
carried out at or from that location. IADL will be pleased to offer a preferential group
membership rate for applicants which are part of the same organization or group.
3.4 Partners, Affiliates and Business Associates of IADL Members
Institutions, organizations, and business entities affiliated or in partnership with an IADL
Member for the purposes of marketing, promotion, joint-course delivery, or other business or
pedagogical activity, may display the IADL logo and announce the IADL membership status of
the Member on websites and promotional and publicity materials.
These promotional statements must not suggest that the affiliate, associate or partner is also
an IADL Member (unless this is actually the case), or is in any way endorsed, accredited,
approved, validated, or recognised by IADL as an entity separate from the IADL Member.
Members are responsible for enforcing this restriction on their affiliates and partners, and may
be subject to disciplinary action for any breaches.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The decision of the Executive Director regarding the recognized IADL
status of any branch office, satellite campus, affiliate or partner shall be final and binding on
