LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. At an early age, he showed a natural talent for basketball. James was recruited by St. Vincent-St. Mary High School to join their basketball team in 1999. James came out of high school to enter the draft. James was the first player picked in the 2003 NBA Draft. James also signed several endorsement deals, including one with Nike for $90 million. It takes a certain level of intellect and trust when starting and backing companies. LeBron went all in for Blaze Pizza. Blaze pizza is a pizza place that James believed in the company early and it has paid dividends. In 2013 it was worth just 6 million and calculated a total of $186 million last years. It’s actually been reported as the fastest growing restaurant chain in history. The restaurant wants to continue opening new stores and expanding its brand not only across the country, but eventually grow worldwide. Blaze Pizza is on pace to open an average of one new store every five days, the company planned to have at least 500 locations by 2020. A way Blaze Pizza contributes to society is they help people create a fundraiser. They host an event and 20% of all sales go to the fundraiser.
