Every year it’s easy to see how the message of Christmas has been blurred or even removed in theworld we live. Schools schedule a “winter break” instead of a “Christmas vacation.” Candy canes,Christmas trees, and Holiday festivities exist without the need of Jesus Christ. It seems Santa and hisreindeer get more attention than they may deserve.We can’t control what others do, but we need to ask ourselves, what are we doing to personallyshine the light of Christ into the world in which we live? One must be intentional whenexperiencing the true wonder of Christmas as its meant to be. A genuine Christmas spirit isn’tsomething we get from watching our favorite Christmas movies or putting up our decorations. Itcomes when we make HIM a daily focus in our lives. It involves allowing His character traits oflove, joy, peace, patience, kindness, etc. to rule in our hearts by faith. It is fostered by times ofpersonal and congregational worship.As we make this journey toward Christmas Day, may we seek to “Keep Christ in our Christmas”again this year!Bro. Thekids created a replica of the temple.November 13th was Lilli’s Day , as we remember her and celebrated acts of Kindness.Lilli’s DayThese studentsmemorized theirmemory verse forNovember!Coming In December: We look forward to adding anew Sunday School class inJanuary for the younger children.Grace Bearden will be takingover that class. She has beenhelping in Children’s Ministry fora while.
