It has the capability tomonitor various parameters ensuring the environmentmeets the required specification.ProLog is a multi-user system with the capacity to monitor up to 3200 points distributed over multiple sites. It monitors a complete facility whilst maintaining departmental separation and responsibility. The system is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant, has been designed and developed to GAMP guidelines and will satisfy UKAS, HTA and MHRA regulatory requirements. ProLog can be configured to combine the InfoPoint user interface and database in a single, wall-mountedtouchscreen display or for larger systems, the databasecan be hosted on an on-site server, or alternatively virtualised server or cloud solution.ProLog uses an industry standard MySQL database. It stores the system configuration information andaccumulates measurements from wireless and/orwired data loggers. It also maintains a secure audit trailof alarms, alarm acceptances, settings changes and allsystem events and actions taken. ProLog makesscheduled automatic database backups to anominated location. The system is highly resilient. Logged data is duplicated inthe database and data loggers. If the network connection

Alarm alerts are configurable to individual sensors.Departmental responsibility is achieved by configuringeach InfoPoint user interface to respond only to alarmsfor specific departments. As shown in the diagram above,ProLog is connected by a standard Ethernet network todistributed data loggers which collect and store datafrom local sensors. Local InfoPoints display alarmsand information only from equipment for which thedepartment is responsible.ProLog software is continuously developed to reflect thechanging needs of users and to ensure that the systemcomplies with current regulations and best practice.Software updates are oered free of charge within our comprehensive maintenance agreements.

LABORATORY MONITORING SYSTEMS | INFOPOINTInfoPointThe LCD touchscreen display and intuitive user interface mean that InfoPoint is simple to use, easy to understand and minimises training.InfoPoint displays alarm conditions, current sensor values and settings, audit trail information and sensor trend graphs. Alarms can be accepted, channels can be inhibited and temporary disables initiated (e.g. for defrost). All the frequently used system operation and maintenance functions are included. InfoPoint uses a tab layout to simplify navigation. Selecting the tab at the top of the screen changes the display mode.InfoPoints can be distributed throughout a facility as required and alarm notifications can be automaticallytransferred to a dierent InfoPoint when a department is not staed. InfoPoint’s UPS ensures operation ismaintained during changeover to the backup electricity supply. The InfoPoint can:Provide users with a concise, visual overview of the system status by utilising familiar colour coding. Generate an audible and visual alarm, jump to the alarm tab and display the alarm information and advisory text.Display sensor trend data graphically.Require username and password to accept alarms and user comments for the audit trail. These are entered using the on-screen keyboard.Display an image on the status page to provide more information. Floor plans or equipment photos can easily be added to channel information to assist uses. What it can doThe InfoPoint is an LCD touchscreen display designed to be intuitive, simple to use and easy to understand. The InfoPoint user interface is the hub of the system, the powerful dashboard software overview enabling users to quickly review graph data and accept alarms and drill-down to review system events.Watch how it works

LABORATORY MONITORING SYSTEMS | INFOPOINTPortalThe Portal is used to review, configure and administer a ProLog system. The Portal is a web application; this means that any PC with appropriate security configuration and permissions can access the ProLog system using a web browser. The system manager specifies the users who have access to the system and assigns users to departments. Usernames, passwords and the required level of access permissions are allocated to users so that they can review, configure and maintain the system, accept alarms and alter settings within their designated departments.Details of alarm acceptances, settings changes and any other interventions are recorded in a secure audit trail along with user’s name and comments. A channel is configured for each piece of equipment attached to the system. Sensors are assigned to a channel and upper and lower warning and critical alarm levels are set. The channel names, sensor names, alarm messages and optional channel and sensor advisory text are entered. The Portal can:Display and print composite trend graphs showing all the sensors connected to any piece of equipment for any timeframe.Sort the complete audit trail back to system switch-on by timeframe, event type, equipment, channel and department. What it can doThe Portal is accessed by a web-browser therefore users with appropriate permissions can access the system from any web-browser enabled device with connectivity to the network. The Portal is designed with system administrators and departmental managers in mind, oering advanced system control and review functions.Watch how it works

LABORATORY MONITORING SYSTEMS | DATALOGGERSDataLoggersContronics range of Data Loggers seamlessly integrates with ProLog to provide wireless systems, wired systems or hybrid wireless/wired systems.Wireless DataLoggers• Accepts up to 2 sensor and 2 auxiliary inputs, in addition, a 4 input version is available to improve flexibility and minimise costs.• Makes continuous sensor measurements at 15-secondintervals and stores the worst excursion during the logging interval in the database.• It utilises user replaceable lithium batteries to achieve a battery life in excess of 1 year.• Wireless loggers connect to the ProLog system via a wireless gateway.• Accepts up to 16 sensor and 16 auxiliary inputs. In addition, 8 and 4 input versions are available to minimise system cost for smaller applications.• Makes continuous sensor measurementsat 1-second intervals and stores the worst excursionduring the logging interval. It accepts a range ofinputs as shown in the specification section.• Has 4 relay outputs. These can beconfigured to change state for any combinationof alarms and used, for example, for local alarmindication.• Each channel (piece of equipment) can be configuredto include up to 4 sensor and 4 auxiliary inputs.• A UPS is installed to enable wired data loggers to continue logging if the mains electricity supply fails to facilitate a smooth changeover to the backup supply. The minimum system logging interval is 1 minute. At this setting, 1 week of data is stored locally in the data logger memory, providing additional system resilience against data loss.Wired DataLoggersMobile AppView alarms and receive notifications via the Mobile App. Each alarm can be acknowledged and custom advisory messages assist users in following an SOP when actioning an alarm alert response. Users can also view all live alerts on the app. Switching to the Portal will allow users to view trend graphs, clear alerts, initiate temporary alarm delays and more.
