Portsmouth Recreation Program Financial Assistance - A Key Collective ProgramPortsmouth Recreation is proud to participate in the #areuin? program. By signing up for the #areuin?card program, your student will have access to free or reduced pricing for programs run by theRecreation Department. No need to ask for help each time you want to participate. Let us know youare an #areuin member, we note the discount on your account, and it will be automatically appliedwhen you register. Visit www.areuincard.org to apply.Portsmouth Recreation Refund PolicyIf Portsmouth Recreation is forced to cancel a program, a full refund will be issued by check by theCity of Portsmouth. Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email ok) and will be granted upuntil two weeks before the start of the program, minus a $5.00 processing fee. Refunds usually takethree weeks to process. If a request is made within the two weeks prior to the start of the program,refunds will only be given for medical reasons or if the Recreation Department is able to fill the spotwith another participant. A pro-rated refund may be given if the participant has attended any sessions. ACE and Camp programs have a more detailed refund policy. Room, Field & Wedding Rental InformationHost your next meeting, birthday party or special event at a Recreation facility. We have space forevery size function and price. We also reserve various fields throughout the city, including our newturf field. Additionally, you can rent Prescott Park for a wedding or Four Tree Island’s pavilion for afamily gathering.
