[ 6 ]VII EDICIÓN AIFF“REVELACIÓN”Bienvenidos a la VII edición del Festival Internacional de Cine de Almagro.Si atendemos a los textos sagrados de todas las iniciaciones de la historia de la humanidad descubrimos que todo acto de creación recorre 7 etapas de acción. En nuestro caso, nuestro camino de 7 años, nos ha revelado que si hay algo en común en todos los artistas cineastas, es la “paradoja” de ser “directores de sueños”.Lo más maravilloso del mundo es presenciar una “paradoja”. Es la manifestación de un poder velado, un misterio por resolver, un conocimiento oculto a la vista de los incautos. Dirigir un sueño… cuando, en apariencia, el mundo de los sueños es aleatorio, inconmensurable, inalcanzable en su manejo, donde se muestra lo oculto, lo difuso, lo simbólico,....”lo que no”…Solo cuando emprendes el camino del Arte entiendes cual es la llave para hacer girar la rueda de “enfoque” de la realidad, porque aceptas e íntegras, como un todo, tanto lo expuesto y manifiesto, como lo oculto y misterioso. Ambas son tu material de trabajo. Por eso, aquel que entienda que la luz solo es percibida gracias a la sombra que proyecta, entenderá también su dirección al encontrar “la suya”, su luz y su sombra. Esa dirección te convertirá en un verdadero maestro de la dirección, desde un lugar donde sueño y realidad forman parte de lo mismo. [ 18 ] Estudió historia del cine antes de trasladarse a la Academia de Cine de Baden-Württemberg para estudiar dirección. Ya en 2001, fue miembro del jurado internacional en INTERFILM. Es miembro habitual del Jurado de Script Pitch y desde 2018 es miembro del comité de preselección del festival INTERFILM. Desde 2023 evalúa cortometrajes para el Festival Internacional de Cine de Almagro (AIFF). Actualmente, se desempeña como coordinadora de programación y selección de la competencia oficial. Desde la Consejería de Cultura del Go-bierno de Cantabria, a través de Cantabria Film Commission, estamos muy agrade-cidos al Festival Internacional de cine de Almagro por la oportunidad de ser región invitada. El beat-box es una disciplina bucal que consiste en imitar sonidos e instrumentos con la boca creando canciones. Fue ganador del campeonato mundial del Boss Loop Station Contest.El nuevo show mezcla humor y música con versiones de míticas canciones, desde el Soul y el Funk, hasta la música disco de nueva generación, originado solo con la ayuda de la voz (beatbox) y un aparato que graba y repite frases (loop station). Como compositora de bandas sonoras, ha traba-jado con directores como Ricardo Franco o Rafael Gordon, y en el ámbito escénico, con directores de teatro como José Monleón, o de danza, cómo Carmen Senra.Ha recibido el Premio Goya de la Academia de Cine a la “Mejor Banda Sonora Original” por la música para el largometraje, La bue-na estrella, y varias nominaciones a “Mejor Banda Sonora Original” y “Mejor canción”, por La noche del hermano y Arderás con-migo.
