Recently celebrating 20 years since the Club's inception, the current membership and staff gatheredtogether to tell tales of the early days of the club. Time and time again a theme appeared as some ofthe original members were identified, and they discussed their commitment to the club since itsinception. Many of the members remain along with a majority of the staff who have been the backboneof the club's community. As a privately owned club, the owners Cliff and Donna Finley see the club as alegacy for them, and their family. This positions them to take service and amenities to the next level, consistently upping the already high standard year in and year out. Another striking difference to noteabout Black Rock is the growth strategy. Marketing outreach really isn’t necessary for membershipgrowth since most members discover the club through mutual members. Summer after summer, friendsof members will visit once, and shortly thereafter I see they have joined themselves.01Currently, the membership is full at 300 families. Although this is the second year in a row of a fullmembership with a wait list, full doesn’t mean crowded because a table in the dining room, or a teetime is still very easy to acquire. Currently, the club is expanding their offerings for the youngestmembers and is building another clubhouse that will cater to families with kids featuring a new, morecasual dining facility, pool and splash pad, and pickleball courts. With this new addition, the club willopen up an additional round of social member spots.02Black Rock does not have a property ownership requirement. Many members have lake properties onlyminutes away and can enjoy the life within the gates during the day, and retreat to their waterfrontspots or homes around the region at the end of the day.03F A Q ' SWhat makes the Golf Club at Black Rock so Special? How many memberships are available?Do I have to own property to be a member at Black Rock?

With the popularity of Lake Coeur d’Alene in recent years, boat slip demand has become difficult. Sincethe Golf Club at Black Rock owns Black Rock Marina, members get priority slips and the same whiteglove service you would expect from the staff. Additionally, just below the back gates, you’ll find theprivate member-only beach with dock access. Members can pull in from other parts of the lake, and beshuttled up to the main clubhouse, or enjoy a fully staffed waterfront experience with complimentarypaddle boards, kayaks, and beach toys.06F A Q ' STell me about the waterfront options?Ownership in any of the Golf Club communities including Polo Cielo and the Estates at Black Rock doesnot require club membership.04Can I own property in the communities such as the Estates without being a member?05Yes, many members join exclusively as social members and enjoy the deluxe dining options, spa, fitnessroom with a plethora of group class options, special events, concerts, tennis, pickleball, pool facilitiesand waterfront amenities. Don’t forget the many offerings for children at Kids Camp. What if I’m not a golfer, will I still enjoy Black Rock?
