Extracurricular ActivitiesPRIMARY SCHOOLEven our youngest students can explore a wide array of interests during and after school as they begin to find their way at Woodward. That means kindergartners can take golf lessons or learn to play chess, while third graders have access to intramurals throughout the year.After school, students can join their classmates in extracurricular activities, discovering new skills while having fun. Students as young as pre-K will learn beginning note reading, solfège, ear training, beginner music theory, and technique. Piano lessons are organized, engaging, and tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals. Lessons include a variety of activities, clear objectives, visual aids, games, and technology integration. The lessons also accommodate students with various learning styles, and developmental levels. Prior knowledge or prerequisite skills are not necessary.
