D A Lubricant Co has been an Indiana brand since its founding in Lebanon IN in 1919 and it has had a history with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway going back to the 1950s sponsoring entries in the 500 mile race from 1955 1958 The 100th running of the 500 was the perfect time for them to try something different with the race and have an official sponsor for the first time ever As the chief marketing officer for D A Lubricants Klipsch Marketing Advisors KMA led the way in fulfilling needs from the speedway as well as D A s recently acquired brand PennGrade Motor Oil

The deal entailed a multi million price tag that secures a sponsorship position for PennGrade for three years Promotion was the next piece of the puzzle how do we get people excited for the upcoming sponsorship Press Conference and party gala Pagoda suite garage and pit tours two seater IndyCar rides meet and greets with sponsored driver Graham Rahal and father Indianapolis 500 champion Bobby Rahal Pagoda suite provided front and center view of start finish line Victory Circle pit activity and provided a setting for sales managers to entertain clients and key prospects to drive revenue
