About KXFM Radio and its history of giving and community support… Twelve years ago, a bright and eager Tyler Russell had a vision to create a new community radio station for Laguna Beach. Today, with more than 40 radio hosts and volunteers KXFM continues the legacy as it moves forward with new management into a new generation of “radio”. With live streaming audio/video programs on various social media platforms, at various locations in the community, with informative news and special events. KXFM is the true voice of the community for a local and global audience. • As a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, KXFM is all about giving 100% back to the community.• As an FCC licensed FM radio station our reach and recognition is impactful and global.• KXFM has a continuing history of community support for many organizations; from the Laguna Pantry to the Friendship Shelter; from the Pacific Marine Mammal Center to Laguna Beach Animal Shelter; Laguna Beach High School, the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna, and many organizations that support the Arts and the artist community of Laguna Beach. • KXFM provides a vibrant forum for commentary for everyone, from community leaders to concerned residents.• Additionally, KXFM provides Emergency Communication Services to keep the community safe, save lives, and mitigate disaster with our own independent power source and emergency procedures.
