Surveys will continue to be distributed to employees on a rolling basis. For those of you that have already participated, thank you for your input. If you have not yet participated, please take a moment to respond when you receive the invite. The rolling survey results are intended to give us a constantly evolving snapshot of employee engagement, and a starting point for further, in depth conversations. For US ofce employees, we have formed focus groups that are digging into the engagement factors where we need to improve and the areas of engagement where we are already doing well. We are going to continue to expand these conversations into other areas of the company including the Lenoir factory and Europe. Our employees in Monterrey are asked on a regular basis for their feedback on how we are doing as well.Employee engagement is essential to long-term success of the Company. Positive engagement directly contributes to customer loyalty, reduced turnover, improved safety, better quality, and employee wellbeing. Employee enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment drive us forward and make Bemis a great place to work. High levels of engagement lead to better performance, improved customer satisfaction, and a stronger company culture. Simply put, when you’re engaged, we all succeed together and we want to ensure that our workplace continues to be a place where you feel valued, supported, and motivated. What’s NextWe recently nished the rst round of surveys with our Sheboygan Falls factory workforce. We are going to hold meetings this October to discuss the results with the employees and gain further insight into the areas that they feel are most important. This is not just about presenting data; it’s about taking actionable steps based on what you’ve told us. We’re committed to turning your feedback into meaningful improvements. Your Role in the ProcessYour engagement doesn’t end with the survey. We encourage you to stay involved and continue to share your thoughts and ideas... Your continued feedback is vital as we strive to create an environment where everyone feels empowered and valued. We want to ensure that your voice remains an integral part of our decision-making process. Thank you for your honesty, your dedication, and your contributions to making our company a great place to work.— Michael Klein
Bemis held our 4th annual Environmental, Health & Safety Fair on Sept. 11th and 12th. The purpose of the fair was to engage all employees by showing them ways to contribute to their own health, safety and well-being and how they can participate in environmental and sustainability efforts at home and work. Along with our own Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team, several community partners participated, including Everside Health, Prevea Health, Roger’s Behavior Health, Sheboygan Falls Police Department, YMCA, Lakeshore Technical College, Focus on Energy, United Way, Centivo and Symmetra, and Waste Management. Employees also had the opportunity to purchase safety shoes from either Redwing or Vanderloop Shoes. This year, Nourish Farms (the folks that do our crop share) were in attendance, handing out healthy mufns to the 1st 100 people each day. Employees had the chance to win prizes by playing EHS themed games. Those who visited all vendors were entered into a drawing for a grand prize of a 1-year membership to the YMCA.
