Some are already in production, and many are currently being built at Bemis’ toolmaker partners. It takes time for growth to happen in Contract because the business operates on the timelines of its various customers.“From the time we hear about a potential opportunity to the time it’s in full production can easily be eighteen to twenty-four months, and sometimes longer,” said Jon Bemis, Vice President of Sales and Commercial Development for Contract. “We are partnering with our customers from the early stages of design and looking years into the future with them.”What that means for the Contract team is that being awarded new business isn’t even half the battle. Helping customers rene their designs and engaging toolmakers to build the molds is the job of the engineering department. Warren Stokdyk, Director of Contract Engineering, said that his team is extremely busy developing all the new molds. “When I started about a year and a half ago, we only had one mold in development,” Stokdyk said. “A lot’s changed.”Once the molds arrive, the process engineers have to establish a good molding process, the quality team has to start work on getting the customers to approve parts, secondary equipment engineers have to get xtures and equipment ready, and the operations team partners with factory employees to get people trained and ready to run the new parts. It’s a major team effort, Raml said.“It’s truly an all-hands-on-deck situation,” Raml said. “Developing this many new tools is a big undertaking, and for Contract, it’s a must-do can’t fail.”— Jonathan BemisMidwest –Plant E 30 Tools Whisker, SportechMidwest –Plant D 19 Tools Whisker, Mercury Marine, Harley-DavidsonSoutheast 13 Tools John Deere, Polaris, Club Car, KendaMexico 6 Tools Honda, Penda, Kawasaki

PHARMAPACK MEDICAL SHOWPharmapack is an important annual event dedicated to medical packaging and devices, held in Paris. It provides us with the opportunity to meet customers and leads interested in our syringes and project capabilities in the pharmaceutical sector.Dubourgel Medical, soon to be renamed Bemis Medical & Industries, presented bi-material syringes with soft pads that enhance comfort and grip. These syringes have been highly appreciated by aesthetics laboratories and injectors. This product is in the pipeline and will be available for commercialization from October 2025.We expect a new customer, Becton Dickinson, to join this project from the beginning. This could represent a large volume and potentially make them our number one customer in the medical market. We were also pleased to see Terumo, a customer and partner, showcasing the product as well. This reinforces our condence in it and allows us to reopen discussions with Schott.Additionally, Pharmapack was the perfect venue to test American Hi-Flow canisters.Although the focus was on syringes this time, we do not want to stop at this initial trial and intend to continue presenting and promoting it.In our strategy, supplying hospitals in France makes perfect sense, and we believe that Bemis HealthCare can assist with their experience and existing products.Last but not least, the show conrmed trends we detected two years ago: force-assisted syringes should be our next innovation. We have signicant growth potential and look forward to sharing more good news with you. — Cassandra BoucardBEMIS BATH SHOPPE NOMINATED FOR RETAILER OF THE YEARWe are excited to announce that the Bath Shoppe in Sheboygan Falls has been nominated for Retailer of the Year in Sheboygan County for 2024! KELCH WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTSEnergy Management Program Improves Efciency of Kelch Water SystemAs part of Bemis’s ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption, the Energy Management Program has successfully completed a project to enhance the Kelch water system at our Sheboygan Falls location.VFD Installation for Improved EfciencyPreviously, the pumps on the Kelch water system operated at full capacity, with valves used to throttle ow. This setup was inefcient and consumed unnecessary energy. By installing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), the pumps can now run at lower speeds, adjusting to process needs and signicantly reducing energy waste and unnecessary wear and tear on the equipment.Upgraded Monitoring SystemIn addition to the VFDs, the team also added a new user-friendly screen that displays real-time data and alarms in one place. This makes it easier to monitor the system and maintain optimal performance, improving overall efciency and simplifying system management.Energy Savings and Sustainability GoalsThis project will save approximately 400 MWh of energy annually, contributing to Bemis’s goal of reducing energy consumption by 10% at the Sheboygan Falls site. Thanks to the CS2 TeamA special thank you to the CS2 team for their expertise and dedication in completing this project. Their hard work ensured the successful installation of the VFDs and the upgraded monitoring system, helping Bemis make signicant strides toward more sustainable operations. — Lena MitkeyA LEGACY OF SUSTAINABILITY AND COMMUNITY COMMITMENTAfter 123 years of family ownership, Bemis has reached a milestone with the publication of its rst Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report. A FRESH NEW LOOK Over the past year, you may have noticed a refreshed look for our Mayfair by Bemis brand at retailers like Lowe’s, Walmart, Ace, and other stores. As the largest retail sub-brand of Bemis Manufacturing Co., Mayfair has undergone a bold transformation, featuring a new logo, updated packaging, and enhanced POP displays. By incorporating Bemis brand colors and bolder graphics, we’ve not only made the Mayfair brand more visually appealing but have also seen an increase in sales. This refreshed look reinforces Mayfair as a trusted, quality brand that consumers can rely on, while also bringing it into closer alignment with the Bemis brand family. The impact of this transformation is evident in our sales performance. This highlights how powerful packaging, and visual identity can be in driving consumer interest and engagement. This updated identity reects our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering products that meet the needs of today’s consumers. A LOOK BACK ON THE CHRISTMAS PARADE FLOATBCT’S FIRST SECRET SANTA EXCHANGE: A HOLIDAY SUCCESS!This year, for the rst time ever, BCT (Bemis Contract Technology’s) rst shift team in Sheboygan Falls decided to host a Secret Santa gift exchange. Out of 63 total employees, 26 coworkers participated in the festive tradition. The rules were simple: each participant had to purchase a gift for no more than $10. While some went above and beyond, the spirit of giving remained at the heart of the exchange. The gifts were placed in a central location, and during break time, employees were invited to pick one at random. With no names attached, the excitement of mystery made the event even more enjoyable. The Secret Santa exchange was such a hit that employees are already looking forward to next year. With such positive feedback, we believe even more coworkers will join in the fun next year, and the tradition will continue to grow! — Krystal Drewa & Amy Spannagle
