SWEET BURNSoft gaze on heat waves that waver from a dancing ame.Melting white, orange blossom jasmine seeps into the air.Swirling slow, pooling thick, dripping from the burning wick.Jumping sparks in smooth glass rims, delicately crackling.Darkness that glowing red, orange, blue doesn’t touchseems not so scary.

Down the street is walking through a sauna,The warm, wet air a hug. Thick like a cloud of steam.Even at night, when the city awakes. Lights twinkle and wink up to the stars that shine down, while the scene is like that of a movie. Each block is a new reveal. When the sun rises it beats down in waves like the coastline, evaporates the dark shadows, and highlights the vibrant orabreathing in the fat air and exhaling sweet exotics.SOUTH BEACH

He wanted that same magicthat made him feel... magneticand charged. It was always there. He wanted that. Same magicthat could make miracles happen. It was so close he was buzzing. He wanted that same magic, that made him feel magnetic. MAGNETIC

Slow motion sunrays that glitter of goldgleaming o sapphire waters gazing Blurs of bodies dressed in whitelike the gold that adorns themand the diamonds in the sandthat beam at the desert sky.Above, palm leaves cast a dancing shadowstreams of light play peekaboo behindbursting through with every sway.Oshun swallows the sand belowand I gaze into the vast of her with a warm inhale,Completely surrounded, entirely alone.ﺣُﻠﻢ

It was a moment that I can’t describeRush of adrenaline I couldn’t hideSomething emerged from so deep insideThat’s when it hit me, I am the prizeThey couldn’t tell me a thing if they triedI wouldn’t get it, I don’t get their mindThis is for all of the legends aliveYou can embrace it, you don’t have to lie.LEGENDS ALIVE

The fractured island greened and hummed again;I walk across the elds.a pulverized black sky, over waterfalls. The rain, the rain, rain, rain, and wind, an iridescent.Blessing of the rain, lift my face to it. The beauty of thunder in a place where there is rarely thunder.A bright pink shell washed to landby high white wavesand raised from gutted, steaming rock. The few loves I’ve been allowed, most of the wild ones, not wild enough.GREEN FEVER DREAM
