A COMPASSIONATE CARE TEAMYour child will be cared for by a team of renowned experts who specialize in treating children and teens, ages 12-17, with mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders, school refusal and other related mental health conditions. We welcome children and teens of all ethnicities, races, religions, and gender identities and expressions.Your child’s dedicated treatment team will collaborate on all aspects of your loved one’s care. They will help your child understand their illness, learn skills and tools to build resilience and discover a new way to experience life. PROVEN, EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENT Our program is designed by the industry’s leading experts and pioneers in child and adolescent psychiatry, psychology and therapy. Based on your child’s unique needs, our treatment team will develop a customized, evidence-based treatment plan. Your child will participate in individual and group therapy sessions. MEETING PATIENTS WHERE THEY ARE Through our assessment process, a licensed, master’s-level clinician will determine the level of care best suited for your child. Our care teams can also provide higher or step-down levels of care, if your child needs them, as they progress on their treatment journey. • RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM 24 hours per day, 7 days per week • PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM Day treatment for 7-8 hours per day, 5 or 7 days per week*•• INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (On-Site and Virtual – Pathlight At Home) Outpatient care for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week of group therapy, plus one weekly individual/family session*Programming days per week vary by location. A SPACE FOR HEALINGYour child’s environment is another important aspect of recovery. Our child and adolescent spaces are designed with young adults in mind, with homelike furnishings, colors and artwork that support healing and tranquility.
FOCUS ON SCHOOL We understand how important it is for your child to continue with their education while in treatment so they are best prepared for post-treatment academics. A central therapeutic goal is to develop the skills and tools needed to function well at school. Your child’s therapist will work with them to develop and apply these skills while in treatment and beyond. SPECIALIZED SCHOOL REFUSAL TREATMENT We understand how challenging it can be when your child refuses to go to school or has difculty staying in school. Your child’s care team is experienced with addressing school refusal behaviors and can expertly help prepare them for a successful return to post-treatment school life.Pathlight is a strong and consistent program that offered great family and parental support.
