About Assistance League of Los AngelesOur vision is to build upon the legacy of League achievements andcontinually develop resources for the community we serve.Since 1919, Assistance League® of Los Angeles has mobilized tens of thousands ofmember volunteers to raise funds and provide critical need services to children andyoung adults experiencing homelessness, foster care, and extreme poverty.Today, the League helps more than 22,000 children every year through our fiveprograms, which provide clothing, blankets, grooming products, books, school supplies,arts enrichment, and education opportunities. Our programs bring hope, joy, self-esteem, and increased scholastic engagement to the children and young adults we serve.

How to jointhe Heritage CircleThere are many ways to support the League with a planned gift, allowing you to retainassets during your lifetime. You may gift the League through your Will or Trust, a sum ofmoney, a percentage of your estate, property, a percentage of your retirement plan orlife insurance plan. Please discuss your thoughts with our Senior Director of Development:Mayboll Carrasco, at mcarrasco@assistanceleaguela.orgFor any Planned Gift, you will need to consult legal or financial advisors. In addition, pleasediscuss your intentions for the gift with our development staff so that we can implementyour wishes.How the League Will Recognize Your GiftAfter receiving notice that you have made a planned gift, you are an officialmember of the Heritage Circle! We will create personal stewardship plan wthat reflects your interests and preferred level of involvement.
