The past fifteen years at Harvest have been the defining period of my life. This campus, the academy, and Jassowal itself have become my extended home.To say that I am ever going to forget this time would be a sheer misrepresentation of facts and who I am as a person. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey. To Harvey sir, thank you foryour inspiring zeal and for transforming this place into a sought-afterschool. To Mr. Gurdeep Singh, our Vice President, thank you for yourguidance and support.Thank you to our Director, Col. Retd Kanjilal, and Mr. Jay Sharma for theirleadership. I want to thank Asst. Teacher SpotlightPinnacleQ. What do you think is the real meaning ofeducation?A. The meaning of education hasdrastically changed, the actual meaning ofeducation is to prepare a Ms. Divya Sood(Middle School Science Teacher)child for the challenges of life, to develop skills in them, to teachthem how to face and further lead life. It was never to get a job, that comes later, the actual purpose is to give the society a betterperson!Q. How do you think education has changed over time?A. To be honest, I feel we are deprived of education, it hasentered into a corporate world. We are not preparing the childto face the adversities of life, rather we are keeping them in abed of roses! There was a time when the teacher was regarded asa Guru, and the students had a sense of respect for theirteachers. The students are looking for a TEMPORARY GAINwithout realizing their PERMANENT LOSS!Q. Some words of wisdom for your students.A. I will just say, that children always come up with excuses, but there is actually no excuse for not trying. It is not important to succeed every time, but there’s a quote “Every time you Fail, you Fail Better”, so there will beone day when you won’t realize you are Successful!

You are in the middle of a storm,It’s hard to see through the raindrops,Refusing to stop and the wind rages at you,For something you did or did not.You try to move but the ground laughsAt your effortless attempt, and the dirt stickseven more,And a hope for you, to just quit, to just give up.You will lift your head to feel the droplets, hitting harder and harder. And then light touches your face,And hope fills in you from head to toe.The light is a reward for you, of not giving up,a right turn to your goal, your futureI hope to all, you find this light after your storm.-Anonymous STORM LIGHTEnglish Poetry
