DELIVERING SAFE, COMPASSIONATE AND EQUITABLE CAREAt Presbyterian, we seek to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that reflects the diverse needs of the communities we serve. That care includes the services we provide in our clinics and hospitals, as well as programs we develop and support to address health-related social issues such as hunger and substance use. • Our Food Farmacy and Northern Roots programs continue to serve more patients in need with a weekly supply of healthy food. At our two Food Farmacy sites in Albuquerque in 2024, we served 752 patients, who received 134,684 pounds of food. We plan to grow programs further in 2025 with a new site at Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho.• Every patient we serve is screened for health-related social needs and, if needed, connected to resources from local community-based organizations. In 2024, we screened more than 655,000 patients.• In 2024, more than 4,500 patients received support for substance use through our peer-led Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment program, which is provided in our Emergency Departments.• Our Health Plan Place and Medicare Advantage Clinic in Albuquerque’s Winrock Center saw 7,855 patrons in 2024 and 3,963 people participated in classes, social events and volunteer activities there. In 2025, we plan to open a second location focused on addressing food insecurity and nutrition among seniors.• Presbyterian Heart and Vascular Care expanded care in 2024 with a 24/7 Catheterization Lab at Rust Medical Center for patients with heart emergencies. • Our transplant team marked new milestones. In 2025, they performed the first simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplant using organs from an out-of-state donor, giving the 31-year-old recipient a new lease on life. CARING IN MANY WAYSThe Presbyterian Pace Academy helps our pediatric patients keep up with schoolwork when they’re undergoing treatment for cancer and other serious problems. This program is supported entirely by philanthropy through the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation’s Kathie Winograd Educational Excellence Fund. KEEPING OUR PATIENTS AND MEMBERS HEALTHYBy expanding access, addressing social needs and strengthening community partnerships, we’re making it easier for people to get the care they need to live healthier lives.• Expanding our provider network. Our network includes: • All Presbyterian facilities• University of New Mexico Hospital and Medical Group• Lovelace Health System and Medical Group• All federally qualified health centers in New Mexico• Medicaid-enrolled school-based health centers’ rural health clinics.• More ways to access care. Since 2019, we have opened four PRESNow locations, providing around-the-clock access to Urgent Care and Emergency Care under one roof. • Adding telehealth options. We now offer such telehealth services as virtual urgent care, specialties like gastroenterology and neurology, and a primary care telehealth option. Learn more about telehealth at Presbyterian. • Bringing healthcare to you. With our Mobile Health Center, we offer health screenings, vaccines, diabetes monitoring, follow-up care recommendations and guidance on Medicaid and health plan options. 6PRESBYTERIAN HEALTH PLAN • Part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, providing more than 550,000 New Mexicans with health coverage.• Selected by the state of New Mexico since 1997 to be a Medicaid managed care organization and now serving more than 330,000 of the state’s enrollees.• One of the largest provider-owned health plans in the country.• Staffed by a dedicated team of almost 2,000 people.SUPPORT ACROSS NEW MEXICO Along with our hospitals and clinics in rural areas of New Mexico, Presbyterian’s Community Health program works with other organizations to improve health in the less-populated regions of our state. In 2024, we awarded more than $2 million in grants to community groups that provide health-related programs to rural residents, participated in health councils and helped in the design of community health initiatives. Presbyterian Community Health and Presbyterian Health Plan have focused on counties in northern and southern New Mexico where there are significant health disparities. This partnership employs local staff to serve as liaisons with community-based organizations, develop relationships with local leadership and community members, and ensure we have a clear understanding of local needs.

ENGAGING AND RETAINING OUR TALENTED TEAMOur 14,000 employees are the heart of our work. Here are a few of the ways we are strengthening our team and recruiting a workforce for the future.• Our Nursing Career Pathways program allows employees to launch their nursing careers while keeping their current Presbyterian positions. Employees can pursue Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Licensed Practical Nursing degrees. Presbyterian offers financial assistance and scheduling flexibility during the program. In 2024, the first group of practical nurses graduated. Our goal is to support more than 100 new nurses each year, helping to close the workforce gap and keeping staff engaged, satisfied and proud of the work they do. • Presbyterian’s Healthcare Advanced Learning Lab (HALL), opened in 2024 to train Presbyterian employees and the next generation of healthcare workers across the state. The HALL provides an innovative learning environment where health care professionals and students receive hands-on, simulation education using advanced technology. We continue to forge new partnerships with local schools and organizations to share this incredible resource with our community. 7“I love the people—the patients, doctors, nurses, staff. I’ve worked with some of the best human beings I’ve ever met.”-Cynthia Valdez, MD, hospitalist, who in 2024 reached 25 years with Presbyterian*as of May 2025Scan the QR code to learn more.THE HALLBY THE NUMBERS*EMPLOYEESTRAINEDSTUDENTS SUPPORTED IN THE NURSING CAREER PATHWAYS PROGRAM1301,500+NURSESONBOARDED635“TASK TRAINERS,” SPECIAL SIMULATORS FOR PRACTICING IV PLACEMENT, BLOOD DRAWS AND MORE130SIMULATION TRAINING SETTINGS, INCLUDING AN EMERGENCY ROOM8
