All laboratories accredited by the College of American Pathologists are required to provide a team to inspect a peer laboratory every 2 years. Our quality-minded team received wide acclaim for providing a diligent and thorough inspection of three laboratory facilities under the WDL umbrella. Our feedback and recommendations were well-received, and in the spirit of collegiality, best practices from our peers at WDL were shared with our team to adopt at Loyola. "I am very proud of the hard work and the detailed manner in which this team represented Loyola in completing this inspection", explains Dr. Maggiore. "It's never an easy task to discover deficiencies and make recommendations to such an institution with an established reputation of quality, but our team accomplished this task with a degree of sincerity and camaraderie, while acknowledging the strength of their quality management system and the efforts of the entire WDL laboratory team.“Seated – Dr. Aayushma Regmi, Manuela Salinas-Monreal, Courtney HalasStanding – Dr. Elnaz Panah, Dr. Amanda Harrington, Dr. Julieta Barroeta, Dr. Yazan Alhaleseh, Alexis Parsons, Dr. Jack Maggiore, Natalia Majkut, Pricilla Fitting, Niveen Albazi.
