You will visitthe Lima Cathedral and the Convent of San Francisco. The catacombs under the conventhouse the skeletal remains of much of colonial Lima! Afterwards you will visit the LarcoHerrera Museum. Founded in 1926, the Larco Museum showcases remarkable chronologicalgalleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history.Later in the afternoon we will escort you to The Magic Circuit of the Water which has theGuinness Book record to the largest fountain complex in the world, displaying 13 distinctfountains and many of those are interactive. All of the fountains are iluminated at night withcontinuously changing color schemes. Once in the air do not miss to watch thewindows to appreciate the gorgeous snow-capped peaks of theAndes. We will be waiting for you when your flight lands at theairport and before you can even feel the altitude, we’ll take ourway into the Sacred Valley. Just 45 minutes outside of Cusco,true Peruvian countryside will stretch away on either side of you,cows and sheep grazing tranquilly road-side. Your journey willtake you to visit the Living Museum of Manos de la Comunidad,where you will see traditional weavers at work and come face toface with llamas, alpacas and other Andean camelids.

Day 5 | Visit the lost city of the Incas – Machu PicchuIn the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the trainstation of Ollantaytambo in order to board the train for where yourjourney to Machu Picchu will begin. Once you arrive, you will beescorted by your guide and after a bus ride of 30min you will get tothe admission way of the magnificent Inca citadel. Then ascend stonesteps, through heavy tree cover to finally emerge at the top of theworld – Machu Picchu! Your expert guide will give you a private tour ofthe ancient city. You will head the Santo Domingo monastery, builton top of the ancient Inca temple of the sun, to the incrediblecolonial cathedral in the Plaza de Armas, to impeccably-wroughtInca stones that form the base of modern buildings, you will learnabout the astonishing mix that is Cusco. Then you will visit theamazing ruins of Sacsayhuaman – where the Incas staged a greatbattle against the conquistadors.

After this visit, you will drive to the meeting point where you will able to start your e-bikeexperience that will take you to discover the magic behind Inkilltambo, an archeological sitenear Sacsayhuaman.Enjoy this fabulous scenic route that offers a birds eye view of a part of Cusco city, you willalso be hiking along a beautiful small river on one side and eucalyptus trees on the other. Thishidden complex has a particular history even in its name, a Quechua word that means IncaPrison. This trip, on the Titicaca Train, iscounted among the best train journeys in the world.You will travel through the spectacular scenery of Peru’s highSouthern plains – golden barren grasses that range for milestoward steep mountains; herds of earthy camelids; a blue opensky that seems close and mind-clearing. Bundle yourself up andsit in the open observation car, breathing in the clean air! Day 9 | Lake Titicaca’s Magical IslandsToday, you will visit Titicaca’s islands by boat. Lake Titicaca, at 12,500ft. above sea level is the world’s highest navigable lake. This means thateven when the sun shines, the wind can be chilly, so be sure to dresswarmly! Your boat will take you out through the bay of Puno, pastbanks of reeds to the incredible floating islands of Uros. For hundredsof years, the people living here have constructed these small islandsby hand from the local totora reed and they continually refresh theisland floor.HOTEL: Sonesta Posada PunoMEALS: Breakfast, LunchDay 10 | Return home We will bring you to the Cusco airport for your return flight to Lima. Your Lima host will meet youupon arrival and help you out with the check in process into your international flight back home. You will next motor to the large natural island of Taquile. Outside the Bay of Puno, Taquile seemsalmost Mediterranean, with grassy cliffs falling toward the blue water. The residents of the islandare incredibly friendly and will explain how their chullos (earflap hats) distinguish married menfrom those who are single!
