Steering Drive Unit Option - Controls

SDU Assembly

Mounts behind the dash. Wheel mounts to machined aluminum steering column supported by a massive ball bearing assembly near the wheel.

Pro Cockpit IISteering System is the most advanced system we've ever offered.

A massive Steering Drive Unit (SDU) with dual 120W force feedback motors drives the steering shaft using a belt-drive system. This not only generates significant forces, but imparts a quality of inertia and tire feeling that's missing in lesser systems.

Wheels

The integrated Quick-Release system makes it easy to change wheels.

Currently, we offer a GT style, a Formula style and Universal Hub that will adapt your favorite racing wheel to the SDU with long or short paddle shifters, buttons, and rotary encoder.

You can even use your smart-phone as a data display using the built in mount and USB charger!

Many other wheel options are available.

The new Pro Cockpit II pedals include a true hydraulic, force-proportional brake and degressive action clutch for realistic and authentic control of your virtual vehicle.

Adjustable Pressure

Brake pressure is adjustable using a rotary control mounted behind the brake pedal. Set pedal force from a few pounds to over 300 pounds of foot pressure.

How It Works

Your foot pressure on the brake pedal compresses the gear oil inside our custom hydraulic cylinder. This results in progressively higher resistance and reduced pedal travel as you approach maximum braking... just like braking works in a real car.

The Pro Cockpit II shifter offers a combination 7-speed gated shifter and sequential shifter in the same package.

Easily converted between the two modes right from the dirvers' seat, this shifter offers real gearbox feel, impressive appearance and rugged construction.

We have engineered the Pro Cockpit II controls to fit onto your VGT with a minimum amount of modifications. The process is as simple as removing the original components and replacing them with the new ones. Generally, depending on your VGT's age, this can be done without drilling any holes, just using the tools that we provided with your VGT.

Installing your Pro Cockpit II Controls Do It Yourself

We offer installation guides and free telephone support if you would like to install your Pro Cockpit II controls yourself.

Installation

We will find a local electronic or computer tech to work with us on the phone to handle the installion and setup.

Perhaps you have a computer tech or home theater company that you already know and trust? We will contact them to review the process.

Local Tech Factory Installation

We can provide one of our Factory Trained technicians on-site to install your new controls. The cost varies based on your location.

Custom Race Rooms

We offer free consultation and CAD design services ranging from scale floor plans to help you decide where to locate your VGT, to complete commercial Race Rooms design and installation.

We can also provide design assistance with race trailers, mobile marketing displays and trade show events.

Let our factory-trained technician install your VGT, then train you on its operation and use.

Training is ongoing through our Internet-based Remote Support service.

* All VGTs include a 2-Year Parts & Labor Warranty on the entire unit. We provide on-site repair or replacement using a local technician that we locate or you refer to us.

Our Support Never Ends

We offer both in-warranty* and out-of-warranty personal support assisted by on-site technicians and telephone support from 6 AM - 6 PM (Pacific) 7 days a week.

Out Internet-based Remote Support service comes with every VGT. This enables us to share your VGT screen for ongoing training, updates and maintenance.
