Message • Summer Holiday Club 23rd-25th July for young lives to be impacted by the gospel For primary school leavers to get stuck into our Friday evening youth group. For more of God’s presence and power at our services That God would teach us to pray and to pray together. St Anne’s Grantham • Please pray for those who were recently bapsed at St Anne’s - praise God for that day, and pray for them that they will grow in faith • Pray for the group heading to Keswick, and for our summer series in the Psalms • Thank God for the community fun day (Saturday 28th June) and pray it helps us get members of our community more engaged with church World Mission Our Mission Partners for July are The Bre’s and the Wilson’s The Bres Give thanks for a good break in the UK on furlough and new connecons made Pray: • For Pete and Carol especially the vision to help start a Disciple Making Movement in Turkey • For 1000 bapsed believers and 100 house-churches in Turkey • For the rst Discovery Groups to start amongst Turks in Germany. • For workers and the rst Discovery Groups to start in the UK. The Wilsons • Pray God for Tahir* a Chinese Muslim seeker, who had a first zoom call with Titus (Chinese speaking Pastor). • Thank God for Silas* who has joined withTitus* as another Chinese speaking Pastor to help follow up seeker. They are going to take over a couple of Digital Discipleship groups we've started, and our team is starting 2 more for those who've shown more interest in recent months. • Thanks God we had one of our most successful online outreach campaigns sharing the story of Abraham's test from Genesis 22 • Thank God Andy's mum, Val is back to normal, home from hospital and has some medication which we hope will prevent this recurrent problem.
St George’s Church • Pray for a fresh move of God’s Spirit in our church and town. Pray for the 94% who don’t come to church, they we might reach them with the Gospel of salvaon in Jesus Christ our Lord. • Pray for the Men’s Breakfast on 12th July. • Pray for the Ladies Lunch on 17th July. • Pray for our 800 year celebraon Civic Service aended by the Dean of Windsor on 17th July at 7.30pm. • Pray for the people being bapsed in services on 20th July. • Pray for the Mission 800, vising every home in our parish in September and October. • Pray for all those aending summer conferences in July and August, including the large group and young people going to New Wine United, and others aending Keswick. • Pray for our Summer Sermon Series ‘Journeying Together’ in the mornings and ‘Spirit Empowered’ in the evenings. • Pray that God raises up young people to join us as interns in September. • Pray for the planning of a Young Peoples visit to Uganda in Summer 2026. • Pray that God is with us at our next Prayer Central on 6th August. Stamford • Give thanks for the Community of Hope allotment and pray for wisdom for the team and clear plans for it’s implementaon. • Give thanks that the Community of Hope leather project is ongoing with strong sales of leather goods. • Pray for Simon and his team of CAP colleagues and volunteers as they connue the debt work in this region. • Pray that God would connue to use Friday Connect (and the Connect+ service) to bring more people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord. • Connue to pray for SHEP, Safe Families, and our befriending teams who work with those amongst us who are struggling. Villages • Pray for those who are members of St George’s who serve in their village churches of Ryhall, Carlby, Keon, Ungton, Tallington, Baston, Bainton, Barnack and the Deepings. • Give thanks for the successful Waterloo project at Carlby and an encouraging celebraon service. • Connue to pray for the ongoing vacancy in Ryhall, Essendine and Carlby as they begin the process of appoinng a new Vicar. • Pray for the readversed vacancy in Keon, that God leads the right person to apply. • Pray that the churches in our villages would ourish; built on the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Market Towns St John’s Spalding Give thanks: • A great birthday week for St John’s turning 150 – connecng with the parish, lots of visitors, increasing unity within the church as we reached out, fantasc summer Fayre, increased sense of condence and joy in St John’s that it has had and sll has good news to oer the town. • Well aended Birthday Service – lots found it encouraging. • God’s grace and sustaining for us all over a busy period. Please pray for: • Fruit from all the connecons made over 150th birthday week. • Pray that as well as aracng people into the church we start to get out more with invitaons to church services and acvies and the gospel. • For the series on ‘Big Quesons’ to equip us with answers to quesons we and others might have and increase our faith and condence in Christ. • 13th July – Aernoon All Age BBQ service – for visitors to come and hear the gospel – for the adult geng bapsed at it to be encouraged in their faith.
