December 6 2019 HASHEM HELPS UNTIL HE HELPS 3 54 PM A chossid came to the Ruzhiner Rebbe and requested that the Rebbe bentch him and promise him a for a he was experiencing His turn arrived and the Rebbe duly bentched him When he left the Rebbe s room the Rebbe s young child Dovid Moshe the future Chortkover Rebbe asked the chossid to tell him what his father had told him The chossid answered that the Rebbe had said that the Hashem will help and send a yeshuah Little Dovid Moshe told the chossid to go back into the Rebbe and ask him what will be until Hashem provides the help The chossid reentered and repeated Dovid Moshe s question The Rebbe responded Until Hashem helps Hashem will help Upon hearing the Rebbe s response Dovid Moshe quoted the possuk from this week s parshah Yaakov Avinu asked Hashem to protect him from Lavan and the promised not to forsake him I will not forsake you until I fulfill that which I have promised Many times we face challenges in life be it in the area of chinuch parnassah or health At times the actual salvation may be far away and the challenge can be daunting and difficult We need to realize that even through the period of tribulation Hashem is not forsaking us but continues to help until He helps What a kiddush Hashem This week we were so gebentched Despite a snow day each of our Rabbeim ran a learning program by phone or in a local beis medrash for their talmidim A parking ban and snow emergency can t stop our kinderlach from learning Torah Motzei Shabbos Dec 21 Torah Academy Gala Auction The bulletin is sponsored in honor of our mechanchim and educators by Rabbi Ochs Before Thanksgiving break there were two special events The first one was the Hascholas Chumash for the first grade boys The boys preformed a series of songs They danced in celebration with fathers and grandfathers Rabbi Sebbag their rebbe told them stories of his Rosh Yeshivah s father mesiras nefesh getting him to yeshivah to learn the heilige Torah Rosh Kollel Rabbi Bier a class grandparent gave a charge to the boys Rabbi Frohlich animatedly told them about learning Chumash The Bostoner Rebbe shlit spoke to the boys prior to presenting each talmid with his first Chumash Bereishis Rebbi Sebbag and the boys then learned their first passuk of Torah The program culminated with a special seudah Thank you to the Riesels and Rabbi and Mrs Schwarz for helping with the refreshments Thank you Rabbi Sebbag for such a beautiful and inspiring program Haschola Gemara took place on the Sunday before vacation The event began with a suedah The boys sang songs Eliezer Feuerstein Tzvi Posy and Tuvia Schonberg presented divrei Torah Rabbi Frohlich described his personal joy and fulfillment that comes from learning Gemara The Bostoner Rebbe shlit a gave a charge to boys about learning Gemara and then presented each boy with his Gemara Baba Metziah The program concluded with each boy saying words about the chashivus of Gemara followed by dancing with parents grandparents and a greatgrandparent Thank you to the Hain family and Rabbi and Mrs Bier for the setting up the room with beautifully arranged tables Yosher Koach to Rabbi Hain for the inspiring program The Understanding Our Differences program in 5B focused on the subject of Autism The program is facilitated by our social worker Mrs Rivka Edelman 3G on completing They celebrated with a siyum this week Thank you Mrs Posy Preschool registration for school year2020 2021 5781 is now open A copy of the application form is included Return your form to school as soon as possible to assure you a spot for next year 1 8 girls are working on a unit on respect which covers talking respectfully cooperating and displaying positivity Useful advice from the girls appears on the bulletin board display
