My child feels worried about not passing the GCSE which has also been told by another science teacher. • Well done ! • Miss Mistry is a vital part of this school and is very supportive. • Satisfactory • There are few children with the same name as my daughter but have noticed the spelling is wrong when we received it. It makes us think at times if it was meant for my daughter or someone else. Otherwise we are very happy with St Damian’s, teachers are really good. • Staff well transparent and made parents feel that assessment grades are contextual and English especially had a lovely out view on teacher pupil relations • This is a brilliant school. They are choosing their favourites, which my child already mentioned it’s not nice. I would like to see some solid boundaries and understanding for the point system, she has done well, especially initially, and then has struggled with the inconsistency of it and received bad points without my knowledge and why. • Raised a potential bullying concern and was dealt with exceptionally well by Mrs Allmand. Fears were thankfully unfounded. But amazing response.

GCSE pathways ? • Thank you for supporting my child • My son has struggled with the transition to high school, however, I am greatly impressed by the schools response to my worries. Each and every teacher this evening has been extremely supportive, and I have every confidence his current needs will be explored and supported to get him to where he should be. Also, more awareness of Black History month. • Lots of things in place to support my child ie: gets to leave the class early due to sensory reasons. • My child does not participate in any after school clubs, maybe there should more varied clubs for mixed abilities. I feel that all the Teachers fed back in a professional and understanding manner taking into account her character and personality. • Due to language barriers, we believe our son may struggle to understand the questions being asked in the assessments rather than the actual theory of the subject. She works hard at school all day, is tired when she gets home and has to study all night. This is not healthy at all and puts too much pressure on my child. I understand she will benefit with good grade, but it’s absolutely ridiculous the amount of
