Thesesaints are St. André Bessette, St. Dominic Savio, St. John Paul II, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Philip Neri, St.Sebastian, St. Teresa of Calcutta, and St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Each Community consists of approximately145 students, who are further divided into Houses of about 20 students. Each Community is led by a facultyDean and two student Coordinators, who are responsible for the health and development of theirCommunity. Each House includes an adult Mentor, a House Captain, and Grade-Level Leaders who aretasked with the day-to-day formation of a community rooted in Faith, Hope, and Charity. Houses meet Monday through Thursday, with time dedicated to building relationships through fun activities, games, and competitions. These experiences support the relational, emotional, and physical developmentof our students and foster the growth and expression of leadership skills. They also provide opportunities fordiscipleship and mentoring. Service to Stewardship At BCCHS, we believe that service learning is an integral part of our mission in forming Disciples of Christ. Our goal is to engage students in meaningful service opportunities that will deepen their faith, teach themthe value of serving others, and help them respond gratefully to the gifts they have been given. The program is divided into two parts. The first part involves the Day of Service on September 24th, whereall students will join their house for community service activities after an All-School Mass. Throughout theday, students and staff will engage in various service opportunities, followed by inspiring speakers, a servicefair, and an ice cream social to wrap up the event. The second part of the program will entail studentscompleting service hours on their own, with specific hour requirements for each grade level. Juniors: 20 hours Seniors: 25 hoursFreshmen: 10 hours Sophomores: 15 hours X2Vol is utilized to share service opportunities and log hours.
