It involves the application of considerable knowledge, research, andplanning in matters of government, public administration, community and economic development,housing, transportation, planning, historic preservation, and any related matters. Specifically, thisposition requires a talented individual who can collaborate with local governments in aprofessional, resourceful, trustworthy, accountable, efficient, and innovative manner. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual who can engage effectively with coworkersand community members to provide quality customer service. Candidates should have a strongvision and desire to facilitate positive change that moves the region forward. A candidate must beable to address challenges with enthusiasm and positive energy that demonstrates a love for thework of growing and improving communities.
