Tribes battle over water and cattle, boys are drawn into violence, and young girls are forcedinto marriages with much older men. Ancestral traditions offer no escape, and the cycle ofviolence, poverty, and hopelessness continues. At a time when it would be easy to play it safe and turn inward, we believe God is calling us to something bigger—something radical, transformative, and deeply rewarding.Introducing OverflowOverflow is a two-year discipleship journey of extravagant generosity, where we allow God’slove to fill us and flow through us—here, there, and everywhere. This means:Drawing closer to Jesus to be filled with His heart for people.Living generously and sacrificially to advance His mission.Becoming disciple-makers who bring hope and transformation wherever we go.Our vision and prayer is that by the end of this journey, both you and the world around youwill be forever changed. As you read through this booklet, I encourage you to lean in and listen—what is Godspeaking to your heart? What’s your part in this journey?I can’t wait to see what God will do here in our community, there in Kenya, and everywherewe go.With you on this journey,Dear LifeSpring Community,When you look around today, what do you see? While goodthings are happening, our world still feels deeply broken. Theeffects are everywhere—more people than ever are searchingfor hope, meaning, and truth. Too many are living without thelife-giving love of Jesus—both now and for eternity.Meanwhile, in the scorched lands of northern Kenya, entirecommunities are locked in a daily fight for survival. From the very beginning, the Bible tells a sweeping story of redemption and renewal—a God whose heart is set on restoring every lost person and broken place in our world. Whether spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, relational, or societal, Jesus came to bring hope, healing, and freedom (Luke 4:18-21).Restoring IndividualsRestoring FamiliesRestoring CommunitiesWe focus on Jesus to experience His transformation in four directions:Up – Deepening our connection with God.In – Shaping our character and identity. With – Building strong, life-giving relationships.Out – Living out our mission with purpose and passion.Families are the most powerful place of transformation, so we equip parents to disciple their children, provide dynamic opportunities for kids and teens to know Jesus, and buildintergenerational connections that create a faith that lasts.Globally, we partner with ministries and organizations to reach the unreached, plantchurches, train leaders, translate the Bible, and eradicate the world’s greatest evils.Locally, we live on mission where we live, work, and socialize, collaborating with existingchurches and helping start new ones to saturate our area with the Gospel so there is noneighborhood, business, school, or social network where Jesus’ life and love isn’t flowing.LifeSpring is not just a building or a church service—we’re a movement. We are a growingcommunity of people who follow Jesus, are being transformed by Him, and are committed to helping others experience the same. Together, we step into God’s mission to restoreindividuals, families, and communities—both here and around the world. This is God’s grand story of restoration, and we are ALL invited to play a part. LifeSpring Harrison was born out of bold vision and sacrificial generosity. What began as amultisite campus in 2008 became an independent church in 2016, and God’s presence hasbeen unmistakable every step of the way. Since then, we’ve nearly doubled in size, witnessing hundreds of people discover a relationship with Jesus.OurHistory & ImpactIn 2018, the TRANSFORM journey ignited a fresh passion for reaching the lost andrestoring broken places. Through thefaithful investment of ordinary people, wenot only built the Community Commons butalso helped expand a Missions of HopeInternational school in Nairobi, Kenya.Completed in 2020, the Community Commonshas become a hub of life and connection, openseven days a week to people who might neverstep into a traditional church. It now offerscommunity sports fields, an indoor playground,Lionheart Children’s Academy, and LifeSpringCommunity, welcoming a constant flow of people searching for hope. But now, we stand on the edge of something even greater. This is not a moment to coast onpast successes or play it safe. God’s Spirit is calling us to step deeper into His mission—so thatwe can overflow with Jesus’ love like never before.LifeSpring is alive and bearing incredible fruit! Individually and as a church, we are all called to grow into the image of Jesus—this requiresus to stretch, to challenge ourselves, and to move beyond the comfort of the familiar. It's easyto slip into complacency, but we are being stirred to rise up and step out. As a church, webelieve God is urging us to unite and boldly move beyond our comfort zones to reach the lostand broken, here, there, and everywhere. Big NeedsHere, There & Everywhere| 4HERE: Expanding Our Reach, Reducing Our DebtAs more people connect, play, and grow at the Community Commons, the call to complete the nextphase of construction is undeniable. For years now, we have felt the squeeze with the number ofchildren in weekend services, but we have been unable to find a financially feasible solution. Our vision is to reach a growing community, but to get there, we must first reduce our debt. By freeingup resources now, we can expand our facility, serve our city more effectively, and mobilize moredisciple-makers for the future.THERE: Breaking the Cycle of Despair in Northern KenyaThrough our partnership with Missions of Hope International (MOHI), we’ve come face-to-face with aharsh reality—a land where tribes battle for water, cattle, and survival, young boys are forced into theviolence, and young girls are forced into arranged marriages with much older, polygamous men. We have been invited to change this forever by helping build a new MOHI school in the desert andadopting an unreached people group nearby to start a disciple making movement with them. This will break the sad cycle of hopelessness, poverty, war, and oppression.Scan the QR code to see Jeff’s self-filmed 20-minute mini-documentary from his trip last summer that captures the raw desperation of a people struggling to survive in the desert. EVERYWHERE: A World in Desperate Need of JesusThe number of people in the U.S. who don’t know Jesus is rising at an alarming rate. News headlinesexpose the world’s brokenness, but we don’t need statistics to see the tragic effects all around us—liveslost in hopelessness and emptiness, facing an eternity without God.Mobilizing an army of disciple makers from LifeSpring, starting new faith communities, and incollaboration with other local churches, we can saturate our area with the Gospel of God’s Kingdom.THE NEED IS URGENT. THE CRY IS CLEAR. THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION - RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.

We draw near to Jesus, allowing His heart for the lost and broken to fill andtransform us.We follow His example by giving sacrificially and boldly to advance His mission—HERE, THERE, and EVERYWHERE.We become disciple-makers like Jesus, carrying the Gospel everywhere we go. By collaborating with other churches and planting new ones, we will saturate our communities with the Good News of King Jesus. What would happen if 100% of LifeSpring Community stepped forward in faith, growing in generosity and following Jesus more fully? What Does This Mean?1.2.3.OurResponseOverflow is a two-year discipleship journey of extravagant generosity, where we will allow God’s love to fill us and flow through us - HERE, THERE, and EVERYWHERE.| 5

For God’s goodness to overflow from our lives into a lost and broken world, it will take all ofus—seeking Him, listening to His leading, and stepping out in faith to give generously overthe next two years. But this isn’t just about what God wants to do through us—it’s also about what He wants to doin us and for us as we follow Jesus’ example:What’sMy Part?“You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.”—2 Corinthians 8:9 (NLT)What Can I Do Right Now?LISTEN to God – Pray about your above-and-beyond financial commitment as you…Read the Practical Strategies Guide and Examples of Commitments on the following pages1.Use the Prayer Guide below2.Use the Family Meeting Guide (if you lead a family)3.Plan your Commitment4.GIVE in response to the Spirit’s leading:COURAGEOUSLY (Upfront): Make a bold statement of faith by giving the largestsingle gift you’ve ever given to God on Commitment Weekend (April 12-13).CONSISTENTLY (Ongoing): Set up weekly or monthly giving through June 2027.CREATIVELY: Consider non-cash gifts like real estate, vehicles, boats, stocks, bonds.God is inviting you into a life of Overflow. Will you step in?| 7

Extra Income or WorkUnexpected financial opportunities can be a source of generosity. Anticipated bonuses, salaryincreases, or tax returns could provide additional giving potential. Some may also find extra timefor part-time work or opportunities to turn hobbies or skills into income, especially in differentseasons of life.Personal Property and CashFor those feeling led, selling personal property for cash—such as vehicles, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, or instruments—could be a way to contribute. After you sell your item(s), then you can givethe funds to LifeSpring as part of your total Overflow commitment. Unexpected financial blessings, such as surprise gifts may also present opportunities for giving. Scan the QR code below to accessmore specific “how to” resources for creative giving.Redirecting Present ExpendituresAs financial commitments change over time, there may be opportunities to redirect funds that werepreviously allocated elsewhere. For example, loans that will be paid off or short-term expenses—such as school tuition—may free up resources that could be reallocated toward Overflow.Priority BudgetingSometimes there are areas in your budget where adjustments could make room for greatergenerosity. Some may find it possible to postpone planned expenditures, such as a new car, vacation, or home remodeling, to create more capacity for giving.Appreciated AssetsDonating appreciated assets, such as publicly traded securities or real estate, can providesignificant benefits for both the donor and the church. When gifted directly to a qualified charitableorganization, these assets may be exempt from capital gains tax that would otherwise be incurredif they were sold. Additionally, donors may be eligible for a charitable income tax deduction basedon the asset’s fair market value at the time of the gift, subject to IRS limitations. While thesecontributions can offer meaningful tax advantages, they also come with important considerations, including potential limitations on deductions and holding period requirements. To ensure the bestoutcome based on individual financial circumstances, it is advisable to consult a CPA, tax attorney, and financial advisor before making this type of gift. Scan to GiveThe success of OVERFLOW depends upon each of us taking our generosity to the next level. The process of deciding what amount to commit is challenging because of the sacrifice it willrequire of us, but it is also exciting because we know we are being transformed to be morelike Jesus and spreading His goodness both locally and globally, now and forever. We are boldly and unashamedly asking every one of us to go all in. While the size of eachgift may differ, every single gift is vital to the success of this vision. The sacrifices we make, no matter the amount, come together to achieve something greater than we can accomplishon our own. Not Equal Gifts...But Equal SacrificeThis chart illustrates the types and number of gifts necessary to reach our audacious goal—and every person’s commitment matters.Commitment Prayer:“Father, this is a big step for me. Strengthen my faith and use this commitment to transform me into theimage of Your Son, Jesus.Thank You for everything You’ve entrusted to me. I claim Your promise to provide for my needs when Itrust You and seek Your kingdom first.I embrace this moment as an opportunity to grow in faith and generosity. Jesus, thank You for Yourultimate sacrifice to save us. Show me how to follow Your example and fill me with joy as I take thisstep of obedience.”

Page 22

Before your final decision is made, evaluate the commitment you are planning on making byprayerfully considering these questions:1. Does this amount show I value eternal things more than temporary, material things on earth?Tell them to go after God, who piles on all the riches we could ever manage-to do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous. If they do that, they'll build atreasury that will last, gaining life that is truly life.1 Timothy 6:192. Does the amount I am contributing require a step of faith to trust God?And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.2 Corinthians 9:83. Does the amount I am contributing represent a genuine sacrifice for God?"I will not sacrifice to my God an offering that costs me nothing!"2 Samuel 24:244. Does the amount I am contributing accurately express my level of thanksfor the ways Christ and His church have blessed me/my family? With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, o Lord.Psalm 54:6OneLast Consideration| 19

If you are thinking of a question that isn’t on here, please reach out by emailing John Calabrese (jcalabrese@lscommunity.org) or Jeff Duerler (jeff@lscommunity.org).What is Overflow?Overflow is a two-year discipleship journey focused on extravagant generosity. It's aboutallowing God’s love to fill us and flow through us—here, there, and everywhere. Why are we doing this?We are called to grow into the image of Jesus, stretching beyond our comfort zones. TheSpirit is leading us to go deeper into God’s heart and Jesus’ mission, overflowing with Hislove like never before. How will this campaign advance the mission of our church?Overflow will strengthen our connection to God and supercharge our disciple-making efforts, uniting us as we join God in restoring a broken world. How does this align with biblical principles of stewardship and generosity?Overflow reflects God’s heart for sacrificial generosity. As we look to the example of Jesusand the early church, we seek to respond to God’s call by generously giving to advance Hismission.Local and Global ImpactWhat impact will Overflow have on our local community and global mission?Locally, Overflow will help saturate our community with the Good News of Jesus, ensuring no street, neighborhood, school, or workplace is left untouched.Globally, we’ll partner with Missions of Hope International to break the cycle ofviolence in northern Kenya and launch a movement of restoration.Financial QuestionsWhy are we raising money when giving is already under budget this year? Our elders and finance team are wisely managing expenses to align with our giving andprioritizing our budget for maximum kingdom impact. We're grateful to have a gifted team of stewards leading and serving in this way. We believe God is calling us to move beyondmaintenance and reach the lost, not just here, but everywhere. This is about stepping up infaith to join God’s mission, not just balancing the budget. Why are we helping others when we’re facing inflation? We are inspired by the sacrificial love of Jesus, who gave up His riches for our sake (2 Corinthians 8:9). We want to follow the example of the Christians in the church in Corinthwho gave freely out of their poverty to express their love and to support those in greater need(2 Corinthians 8:3-5).FAQ’s| 20

Page 24

Is this just a way to raise more money given that we're under budget? No. Overflow has been planned for over a year and is not tied to any current budget shortfall. 100% of the funds raised will be used for urgent needs in Kenya and local Gospel saturation, not our operating budget. What is the total financial goal of the campaign? The Dream Goal is $1.25M over two years, with a Celebration Goal of $750,000. Everydollar will flow into three key areas: Kenya, local mission, and debt reduction. How will funds be allocated among the three initiatives?$250,000 (20%) will go to Kenya for a Missions of Hope International school andadopting an unreached tribe.10% will support Gospel saturation locally, mobilizing disciple-makers, everydaymissionaries, and fueling new partnerships with local churches.70% will go toward debt reduction for the Community Commons. Why are we giving the first $250,000 to Kenya? The cry for help is clear, and God is calling us to respond. Missions of Hope can begin theirwork immediately with our support, and lives are hanging in the balance. What accountability measures are in place to ensure responsible use of funds? We have strong oversight and financial transparency and will provide detailed reports andupdates on how funds are being used for each initiative. What happens if we don’t raise the full amount?Even if we don’t reach the Dream Goal, the first $250,000 will still go to Kenya, and 10% ofthe funds raised will go toward local Gospel saturation. Any remainder will go toward debtreduction. What happens if we exceed the goal?If we exceed the goal, after the initial $250,000 to Kenya and 10% for local missions, thesurplus will go towards paying down debt and, if that is met, into a designated building fundfor future expansion. How can I be sure my contribution is making a real difference? You’ll receive regular updates in services and by email, including how funds are being used, and we’ll share stories of impact locally and globally as the initiative progresses.Debt ReductionWhy is paying down debt a priority?Reducing debt positions us for future growth and expansion, saving us significant interest inthe long run. It helps ensure that we can continue growing without being constrained by debt. How much debt do we currently have, and what is our long-term financial strategy? We currently have about $2.75 million in debt, with over $400,000 already set aside forfuture construction. Our plan is to reduce debt by 32%, positioning us for future growthwithout having unmanageable payments.

Page 25

Giving Expectations & OptionsWhat is expected of me?We ask you to prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give. Your sacrificial andjoyful generosity will advance His mission to restore a broken world through making disciples. What if I am new to LifeSpring? First, we want to thank you for joining us! If you are ready for it, this is a perfect time to makeLifeSpring your church and join us in Overflow. Together we will be stretched beyond ourcomfort zones as we go deeper into God’s heart and Jesus’ mission, overflowing with Hislove like never before. How much are we expected to give? We’re asking each person to give what God leads them to give. This may look different foreveryone, and it will be both a sacrifice and a joy. What if I am currently unemployed? God calls us to action in times of hardship just as much as he does in times of abundance. That looks different for every person. Please reach out todiscuss these options by emailing info@lscommunity.org. When will we make our financial commitments?Commitments and initial gifts will be received on Commitment Weekend (April 12-13). You can still participate if you can’t attend by making your pledge online atwww.lscommunity.org/give at any point during the two year journey. What if I’m already giving sacrificially—am I still expected to contribute?Yes, we encourage everyone to give sacrificially according to what God calls them to, even if you’re already giving generously .What happens if my financial situation changes after I make a pledge? We understand life circumstances can change.
